The Volvo 142 is at a stage that the underside can be done then covered up completely until the inside and outside can catch up. Door and panel alignment on the rotisserie is not a good idea.
The roof needs alot of work so once this is done I can move it off the spit for paintwork.

911 panel replacement starts with drilling out a bazillion spot welds! Some of the rotten areas will need fabbed as no panels available for them. Basically lots of mocking up and alignment checks before internal epoxy then welding.....

Sheesh......guess we will be calling Design911 for some more panels.....

Volvo is on a bogey for underside sealing then body and paint.

One of Stuttgarts finest is in for some resto work in the new year. Stripping it now to see what panels are required. It had to be test driven first....😎
I could do with an old 911 in my life right now.
Should never have sold mine......priced out if my means now.

Hospital time with dad has limited progress on many fronts but getting there.....special done and away.....an Austin Van body panels done and away(owners name done in braille in brass rivets on bonnet).....Pop chassis smoothed and painted and running gear getting done.....34 re-sanded and polished....

Knocked up some seats for the Special.....almost done with it now....front fenders and tubular mounts made.

Whilst the 34 sedan paint issues are being addressed, interior fab work was handed over to Stu Baillie to be upholstered...

Whilst the 34 sedan paint issues are being addressed, interior fab work was handed over to Stu Baillie to be upholstered in Italian leather. I bent up some stainless D section for trim pieces.....leather headliner going in when body is back...
