Fiesta in for some MOT welding. Unfortunately something that seems to be failing on these more and more often is the rear sections of the sills.
Opted for function over form on this one so Unfortunately doesn't look pretty but will get a full clean up, underseal and stone chip to protect from potential other horrors once the welding is all done 👌

Wee high mileage mini in for MOT repairs this time.

Front track rod end was easy enough but the lower wishbone bushes are one one of the more awkward jobs to do, subframe has to come down to get the bushes out to replace them and then to top things off I managed to confuse myself with the orientation and put them on the wrong way so had to CAREFULLY get them back off the suspension arms and CAREFULLY put them back on while damaging myself in the process

After all that though its back on the floor and all through its MOT with a nice clean sheet

Peugeot wet belt fun at 40k miles

Unfortunately these engines seem to be designed to fail. For timing belts of years gone by the procedure for oil contamination regardless of age was that the timing belt had to be replaced regardless of age as oil degrades rubber extremely quickly. But here we are with oiled timing belts... next itll be dry timing chains for a laugh

Back on the road now anyway and hopefully will get another 50k out of this one before thinking about its next belt
