🚦 Did you know? The first British driving test was introduced in 1935. Mr R. Beere was the first to pass, paying just 7 shillings and 6 pence (37.5p in decimal currency). Bet he didn’t complain about the price! 😂

Taking dates now for November for our Coaching and ADI/PDI Development Course for anyone interested?

The course is a full days course 9-4 at Old Course Ranfurly golf club Bridge Of Weir classroom session in the morning and in car in the afternoon.

Morning session will cover teaching models SMART & GROW, The GDE Matrix, How we learn to drive, Linguistics, Body language, VARK and so much more.

We will have tea/coffee in the morning and lunch all part of the course price.

Afternoon will put into practice what you’ve learnt in the morning into the car and lots of techniques you can take back and work with your learners.

DVSA News:

We’re changing how learners can swap their driving tests
From 1 October, the process for how learner drivers can swap their driving test is changing.

The change will remove the need for learners to coordinate their availability and will make the process smoother and less stressful.

What's changing
To request a swap, the first learner driver will still need to call DVSA. The second learner will then need to call DVSA on the same working day to confirm they're happy with the swap.

We can only process the swap if both learners call DVSA on the same working day.

Previously, both learners needed to be available at the same time to make the swap.

Please make your pupils aware of this change.

Another pass and this time it means so much! Daniel Watts has put so much into his time with us and been agonisingly close twice before. In fact he has been that close a large percentage of pupils even when they pass have more minors on their test than Daniel has in all three put together 😵 so this meant so much more to both of us.

Well done Daniel, have fun out there, but most of all, be safe!
