DRM Autocentre Ltd are looking for an experienced and reliable mechanic to join our busy, family-run garage and MOT centre in Kilsyth.

We offer a modern heated workshop with the latest diagnostics equipment and all specialist tooling provided, giving you everything needed to do the job properly.

✅ What We Offer:• Salary £30,000 – £45,000 depending on ability and experience• Modern heated workshop• Latest diagnostics equipment• All specialist tools provided• Monday to Friday only• 8:30am – 5:00pm working hours• No weekend work• Friendly family-run business• Supportive team environment

🔧 The Role:Carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work to a high standard as part of a professional and friendly team.

✔ What We’re Looking For:• Experienced mechanic/technician• MOT tester preferred but not essential• Good diagnostic and repair skills• Reliable and hardworking• Full UK driving licence preferred

Apologies to all customers for the lack of contact and invoicing today.
Our booking and invoicing system went down around 11am today for an update that was meant to take 15mins and is still currently down.
This means we have lost contact with customer info booking diary and invoicing.
Not ideal when we are this busy and doing many late nights trying to keep you all on the road.
It will hopefully be back on later tonight and I will try and catch up and email out all invoices.
I will contact everyone who tried to book in today as well.

Well another successful trip to the formula 1 and managed to land another part.
Front wing end plate will go up on the wall when I’m back and at this rate I think it will only take another 20,000 trips before I can finally build my own race car😂
Luckily this one just managed to fit in my suitcase with millimeters to spare but a lot less stressful going through customs,however getting the part was a whole other issue with 2 of us clinging onto an electric scooter racing through crowds and traffic trying to get into different stands at the track to meet the engineer that gave me the part.
We Got some right funny looks but all part of the journey.

Will be asleep the whole flight home at this rate then back to work to smash out the work to end the year😎

All of us here at DRM Autocentre would like to wish all our customers and friends a happy new year when it comes and, again, a massive thank you for making this garage a success.
It is now 6 years since we moved to Kilsyth.
We have ramped up our ability and services to now include in-house mots, aircon servicing, dpf repairs, up-to-date diagnostics and computerised wheel alignments.
We renewed our tyre equipment to minimise any mistakes, even when fitting 22” runflat tyres, and have just invested in more new tooling for the new year to carry out wet timing belt replacements and the new pass-through technology to keep up with main dealers.
This investment is crucial to try and stay ahead of this fast, ever-changing motortrade and it wouldn’t be possible with out all of your much appreciated business.

Again thank you for trusting us with your cars and we will continue to try our hardest to keep you safe on the road.

Dave is out in Abu Dhabi for the formula 1 weekend just now and asked for a “small souvenir”,a mechanic jokingly came out with a wheel from one of the cars and Dave accepted the challenge to get it home🫣.

If he gets this home it will be going side by side the v8 coffee table waiting eagerly for our new coffee machine in reception.

Let’s see how he gets on🙏😂
