Amber and her husband did their wedding in two halves: the formal part here in Glasgow, and the big celebration still to come in Ibiza. We started in Blantyre, called at a townhouse in Hamilton, and the day settled at Crossbasket Castle for the ceremony and the photographs — the white Beauford Tourer for the couple, the silver Baby Bentley for everyone else. Then a few relaxed drinks at Rocca and back to the castle for dinner, at a lovely unhurried pace. Congratulations you two, and enjoy Ibiza 🤍

Jade and Kieran met working side by side at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and they built the whole day around the places that made them. Jade left Dalmeny Park House Hotel in the white Beauford, and rather than travel far the two of them married at St Mungo's in Townhead — a local chapel that means something to a couple with roots in Royston and Bishopbriggs. Stevie and Billy brought the bridesmaids through in the two silver Baby Bentleys, while Andy, a firefighter when he isn't driving for us, got chatting about the area and worked in a bit of fire safety along the way, which might be the most Glasgow wedding conversation we've ever had. Then back to Dalmeny Park for the bubbly. Congratulations you two 🤍

Ros and Catherine, both nurses over in Paisley, married at Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond on Saturday — and they had our Andy laughing the whole way up the road. Friends had travelled from all over, so it felt like a reunion as much as a wedding, and the two of them were so set on not being late that they arrived comfortably early. A string quartet was playing as they stepped out of the white Beauford, while the photographer worked every angle and a passing tourist kept wandering into shot, which only made everyone laugh harder. Megan and Dean married on Friday in the heart of Glasgow, and Megan turned every head on Montrose Street in a striking black wedding dress. Michael brought the family in from Bothwell in the eight-seat Vito, Andy looked after the groom's party, and our former Navy man Stevie kept Megan smiling with stories the whole way into town in the ribboned Baby Bentley. Glasgow managed four seasons in one day and none of it mattered a bit — photographs at John Street, then on to the Blythswood to celebrate. California next for these two 🤍

Tammie and Brendan married today at St Mary's in Lanark, then on to Crossbasket Castle — a place that's stood since 1440, with a chapel over a hundred years old and cows grazing in the field alongside it. The grey skies kept their rain to themselves and it turned out a lovely day for everyone. Our white Beauford Tourer looked after the two of them, with three V Class people-carriers keeping the rest of the party together between Lanark and the castle. Paris next for these two 🤍

Lanarkshire is right on our doorstep — Hamilton, Bothwell, Motherwell, Strathaven, Lanark and East Kilbride are all regular runs for us, most of them twenty to thirty minutes from our Glasgow base, so we turn up early and unhurried. We know the roads to Crossbasket Castle, the Bothwell Bridge Hotel and the Radstone in Larkhall, and the first 50 miles are included, which covers most Lanarkshire journeys comfortably. The whole fleet travels — the white Beauford, both silver Baby Bentleys, the S-Class, and a Vito or the 16-seat minibus when the full party needs moving.
