Calibre (part of Wheelwright) was created in 2009 to encompass the niche designs that we wanted to bring to the UK market, and for the 2010/11/12 seasons the Calibre brand proved extremely popular to several market sectors bringing them the designs and fitments that they craved that weren't available anywhere else. Now, for 2014 this presented us with a dilemma, too many other nice designs that di
dn't fall into the 'Retro' or 'Utility' markets, so we felt it was time to roll the full Calibre programme out to you all. To this end we have created three clear headings for the Calibre range encompassing all we want to bring to you, all exclusively tailored to the British market.
*Couture: Premium wheels for the executive market, exclusively tailored and quintessentially British. From the concave Altus, allowing you to ride high, to the aggressive Excaliber with its mirror polished lip, you are assured of quality and exclusivity.
*Contemporary:
We are pleased to offer you our new range of up to the minute designs from Calibre, each with its own unique feature, each carefully selected to enhance your profile. From the street inspired Pro 7, Vertigo and Motion II, through the ball machined Friction and the staggered lip Avant, the Contemporary range has true style and breeding.
*Retro:
Here we present our range of classic designs, some familiar and some not so, from the heyday of European and Japanese automotive design. For 2011 we have three new additions all inspired by the Japanese market of the late 80's. From the bold 4 spoked Vice, to the Eclipse's classic cross spoke design to the truly out there 8 spoke Bomb, Calibre's retro range will again be a crowd pleaser at all of the top shows. Also for 2011 the popular Vintage design has grown another inch to give customers the chance to redress their style in 18" and like its 17" sibling, in split sizes too.
*Utility:
Our range for vans and pickups. Where Calibre scores over other brands is its ability to push things to extremes, like the 18" Tour for the Transit full size and the 20" Voyage for the Volkswagen T5 and Mercedes Vito.
