Light Vehicle Technician Vacancy
M-Tech (Dorset) Limited are a highly regarded, independent family run VW Audi Porsche specialist based in North Dorset, with an excellent reputation for a providing a top quality service to their customers.
We are looking to welcome a qualified Light Vehicle Technician to our Team at M-Tech. The successful candidate will ideally have had at least three years post qualification workshop experience and hold a Level 4 MOT Tester Licence. This is an opportunity to work alongside very experienced, highly skilled and knowledgeable technicians who are passionate about their job. Housed in a new, purpose built, warm and friendly workshop the successful candidate will work alongside a small team with access to up-to-date technology and diagnostic equipment.
The role will be responsible for:
● The service and repair of customer vehicles.
● The successful diagnosing of faults and finding a prompt and accurate resolution.
● Maintaining high levels of workshop safety and cleanliness.
● Operating in manner which best uses resources to complete tasks
● MOT Testing (sponsorship/training/accreditation offered to the right candidate)
To be successful you will:
● Hold at least an NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle repair or similar.
● Hold a Level 4 MOT Tester Licence (an advantage)
● Have a genuine enthusiasm for the job
● Be able to manage time effectively and work without direction.
● Understand the importance of accurate and thorough work standards.
● Have a genuine commitment to delivering first-class customer service
● Be open to further learning leading to additional qualifications
● Present yourself well. Cleanliness and presentation are key, as are a methodical approach to work and a cheerful nature.
Salary
Up to £50,000 a year (dependant on skill level)
Job type
Permanent, full-time 40 hours Monday to Friday
Qualifications
● Full UK Driving Licence
● NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician qualification essential
● MOT Tester Licence (sponsorship/training/accreditation offered to the right candidate)
