BSA 650 Goldstar ECU Remap
Stock Bike.
So its only been a year since I decided to attempt to remap my Goldstar 650......and I have finally managed to crack the ecu to enable me to get it how it needs to be in terms of fuelling. I will address the ignition timing in time to come, this will possibly allow further increases in performance.
I have attached an array of dyno graphs.....these show before and after mapping at 10,15,20,30,40,50,60,70,80 and 100% of throttle opening just to give a good overview of the difference this make to the bike. Blue trace is stock bike and Red trace is remapped with the baffle insert removed. I will need to go over the fuelling maps again at some point just to remove a small amount of richness in the fuelling.
All in all we are getting somewhere with the bike now.

KTM SMCR 690 2026 Euro 5+ Custom ECU Remap.
Running with Arrow full system no db killer, DNA Filter with CRT open airbox lid conversion.
So had this one in for a little while just getting to grips with the bike and carefully putting together a new map that dispenses with all the E5+ settings and enhanced the fuelling, ignition and ETV throttle maps in all modes to varying degrees. The dyno output graphs at 15 20 30 40 60 and 100% of throttle twistgrip position show good gains compared to stock map outputs (blue trace) however in terms of bike configuration I did not run as a completely stock bike. The spec was as follows....Stock airbox filter and lid running with the Arrow full system with no db killer as opposed to a full stock exhaust system. In the future this comparison will be made and recorded at completely stock spec. So this will have to do for now.

In for a custom dyno remap nice gains all round and should be a much better bike to ride. :)

Yamaha MT09 Gen 4 2025 Custom Tune Akrapovic full system DBK installed.

Had this beauty in the shop the other day and very pleased with the results. These respond well to careful ECU tuning.

Dyno graphs represent before and after power runs at 10 15 20 30 40 and 100% Throttle position (ETV).

The gains are quite significant at mid range throttle openings and very nice and smooth power delivery all round.

Should be a different bike out on the road. :) Woolich Racing
