Look at his face… 💔🏁 South Yorkshire Championship 2025

Just a young boy, moments away from the biggest race of his life so far. The pressure, the expectation, the nerves… knowing that everything he’s worked so hard for comes down to these few laps.

Sometimes we forget that behind the helmets, the race suits and the trophies, they’re still just kids. Kids carrying pressure that many adults would struggle with. Kids who want to make their families proud, who feel the expectations, who put their hearts and souls into something they love.

We see the racing, the results, the wins and the championships… but we don’t always see the weight on their little shoulders just before the lights go out. 💔

This was the moment before Mason went out and became South Yorkshire Champion in his Honda kart. 🏆 But looking at this picture, it’s a reminder that the result is only one part of the story.

Yes, we want them to succeed. Yes, we want them to win. But more than anything, we need to remember they’re children first. Their happiness, their confidence and their love for the sport matter more than any trophy ever will.
The pressure is real. The sacrifices are real. And sometimes, the bravest thing these kids do is climb into that kart and give it everything they’ve got. ❤️🏁

So incredibly proud of you, Mason. Not just for becoming champion, but for the young lad you are and everything you put into getting there. ❤️🏆

💙🏁 Where has the time gone? 🏁💙

Sometimes it feels like our boys are slipping through our fingers, growing up far too quickly before our very eyes.

One minute they’re little boys, and the next they’re chasing their dreams, pushing their limits and making us prouder than words could ever explain. ❤️

Watching their progress in karting has been such an incredible journey. From the early days to where they are now, seeing their confidence grow, their skills develop and their determination shine through makes every early start, every mile travelled and every moment spent trackside so worth it. 🏎️💨

Karting isn’t always easy, and there are ups and downs along the way, but watching them learn, improve, pick themselves up and keep pushing forward is what makes us proudest of all. 🏆

We know we can’t keep them little forever, so we’ll cherish every moment, every milestone and every memory made along the way. They might be growing up faster than we’d like, but we’ll always be their biggest supporters, cheering them on every step of the way. 🥹❤️

So proud of our boys, how far they’ve come and the journey they’re on. The best is yet to come! 🏁💙

🏁 THE C**K O’ THE NORTH | WOMBWELL 🏁

This weekend, the team headed to Wombwell for The C**k O’ The North, and whilst the silverware wasn’t quite as plentiful as we’d hoped, there were some fantastic personal bests, big achievements and valuable lessons learnt along the way! 💪🔥

Here’s how the team got on…

🏆 ZAC GOODALL | HONDA CADETS

What a weekend for Zac! 🤩
Zac brought home his first trophy from Wombwell, securing an impressive P3 finish in what was a seriously strong and competitive Honda Cadet grid.

But the trophy wasn’t the only reason to celebrate… Zac finally broke the elusive 37-second barrier! 🚀 A milestone that no other cadet has managed to achieve all year!
To say he was happy is an understatement — that’s his day, week, month and year made! 😂🙌

And if that wasn’t enough, Zac has now secured fastest lap for two rounds running! The pace is there, the confidence is building, and we’re hungry for more.
🥉 Currently P3 in the Championship.

⚡ MASON GOODALL | INTERMAX

Another weekend, another personal best smashed! 💥

Battling up front, Mason found a new level of pace this round, putting in a flurry of 34.50s and showing he has the speed to mix it with the very best.

A top-three finish was certainly within reach, but some aggressive defending made progress difficult, leaving Mason to settle for P4 in the final.

Unfortunately, it’s the first round at Wombwell where Mason hasn’t made the podium. However, when you consider the calibre of the drivers he was battling with and the pace he showed, there are plenty of positives to take away.

Arguably one of his strongest drives yet, and proof that the hard work is paying off! 👊
🥈 Currently P2 in the Championship.

💨 MYLES LANE | INTERMAX

After working hard to find the right setup, Myles has taken a huge step forward this round, breaking into the 34-second bracket! 🔥

That’s a fantastic milestone and a real sign of progress. With the setup coming together and confidence growing, we’re excited to see him continue pushing his way up the order.

Myles finished P9 in the final, banking some important championship points in the process.

The pace is coming, and the climb continues!

💪 BRAYDEN TIMMONS | INTERMAX

It was a tougher weekend for Brayden, who struggled to find the pace he showed last round due to setup issues.

Sometimes, motorsport throws you a challenge, and this weekend was one of those occasions. But despite the difficulties, Brayden kept going, secured the points he needed and brought home a P7 finish.

Championship racing is about consistency as much as outright pace, and those points could prove crucial as the season progresses.
🥉 Still firmly holding P3 in the Championship!
We’ll regroup, work through the setup and come back fighting. 👊

🔥 JOSHUA BELL | HONDA CADETS

One of those weekends where nothing seemed to go Joshua’s way!
Incident after incident pushed him back from his usual front-running position, whilst bent parts and damage made an already challenging weekend even harder.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we were looking for, with Joshua finishing P9 in the final and missing out on some valuable championship points.

But if there’s one thing we know about Joshua, it’s that setbacks only add fuel to the fire. The pace is there, the determination is there, and the focus is already on bouncing back stronger.

Mechanic. Chauffeur. Chef. Personal assistant. Weather forecaster. Chief tyre warmer. Professional worrier.
And somehow, after a full day at the track, Dad still thinks the kart was “definitely down on power.” 🤣
Respect to all the karting dads keeping the dream alive.
One day, they might forget the races, the trophies and the lap times — but they’ll always remember that Dad was there.

Consistency is key!

Putting in consistent fast laps is what wins races. As Brayden Timmons, Mason Goodall Racing #91, and Zac Goodall Racing #15 have perfectly demonstrated at Race Kart Centre this weekend.

Consistentcy is gained from experience and matters more than a one off quick lap when it comes to winning

This weekend saw the team up at Race Kart Centre for the first annual R plate.

Lap records set and silverware a plenty.

Zac Goodall Racing #15 acheived the Honda lap record at 31.09 whilst also securing top spot for the 2nd round running. Joshua Bell was very unfortunate with a DNF due to a collision towards the end of the race. Fortunately he walked away uninjured, however the kart took a bit of a beating.

Brayden Timmons walked away with top spot in the Rotax inters, with Mason Goodall Racing #91 hot on his tail in 2nd. Both boys beat the lap record this weekend, with Mason eventually finishing with it by the end of the event, at 28.30.
Myles Lane, firmly in the 28s now secured 4th place and unfortunately, after a good run throughout the day, Jaxon Na'ama ended the day with DNS due to mechanical failure at the dummy grid.
