Adapting to Change: Turning Quality Referrals into Confirmed Repairs – The Key to Sustainable Growth!
The accident repair industry is experiencing one of the most significant shifts in years, with claims volumes falling to their lowest since 2021. With market demand down and repair dynamics shifting post-pandemic, the pressure on repair networks has never been greater.
This has increased the need for partners who can deliver efficiency, reliability, and capacity. At Motofix, we continue to deliver best-in-class performance, providing our clients with a trusted partner in a changing market.
To achieve this, our business has taken deliberate steps to adapt. As our CEO, Richard Tutt, recently shared in the ABP Magazine Autumn Edition, while claims volumes have reduced overall, the impact for Motofix has been largely positive.
We’ve sharpened our focus on:
⚖️ Rebalancing our work mix across six key channels: insurer, accident management company, credit repair, local dealer/fleet, vehicle manufacturer network, and retail.
📈 Improving our conversion rate to 76%, maximising every viable claim.
🔁 Refining triage processes to identify salvage opportunities earlier and reduce wasted capacity.
✅ Establishing a dedicated Total Loss Avoidance Team to collaborate with manufacturer schemes and embrace green parts.
These initiatives have allowed us to maintain strong utilisation and deliver consistently for our partners, even in a market of reduced volumes.
For insurers, AMCs, and OEMs, this means partnering with a repair group that thrives under market pressure - consistently delivering efficiency, innovation, and governance.
At Motofix, we're not just adapting to change - we're shaping the future of accident repair.
