Ladies n gentlemen…..
I have an announcement to make….

It is with a very very heavy heart,

I will be unfortunately closing down the business.

After a lot of thought and consideration due the current economic situation I feel that it’s no longer financially viable for me to continue, I am absolutely heartbroken at having to make this decision but feel it’s the right thing to do.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years — it’s been an amazing journey and I’ve genuinely appreciated all your custom, recommendations, and support.

If you have contacted me up until today Friday 3/4/26

I will honour your request for my services

Price Increase Notice

Due to rising fuel costs, I will unfortunately need to increase my call-out prices.

As always, I’ll continue to keep costs as low as possible, but as a sole trader these increases are necessary to cover the higher running costs.

Hey folks “A Quick Update from Chris’s Tyres”

From Monday 2nd February, Chris’s Tyres will be moving from full-time hours to evenings and weekends only.

I just want to say a huge thank you to every single customer who has supported the business over the past 18 months — your trust, loyalty, and recommendations have meant more than I can say. 🙏

This isn’t goodbye, just a change of hours. I’m still here to keep you safely on the road, just at slightly different times!

Afternoon folks….

My road has finally been cleared but unfortunately my van has decided it doesn’t want to play ball after being sat over the holidays.

It went out with an almighty crack and crunching sound when I turned in my yard and I have lost drive… so will need to investigate and sorted before heading out.

I know there quite a few people waiting for me to get to them asap but please bear with me whilst I get my van looked at and repaired asap.

Hi folks, happy new year everyone.

Due to the current weather conditions I am unable to get deliveries of tyres and I am currently snowed in at my house awaiting the local farmer to come and plough my road so that I can hopefully get out.

Please remember I need at least 24 hours notice for any winter/all season tyres that you may require

Hey folks,as the winter weather sets in, some of you may be considering All-Season or Winter tyres. I can supply these for you; however, they are not stock items. I just require 24 hours’ notice to order them and have them delivered.

As always, my price includes mobile fitting at an address of your choice, as well as disposal of the old casing if needed. I can also offer a special rate in the spring for swapping back to your summer tyres.

Hi folks… a wee post to notify everyone that I will be out of action for a few days with the mobile fitting service.

As the pedal for the turntable of my machine has jammed and is spinning anticlockwise (the wrong way) instead of clockwise (the right way) for fitting tyres.

Hopefully get bits ordered tomorrow and back on the road asap.

We will still be able to do fitting at our unit at Percyhorner though

Hey folks sorry for the lack of posts,been haein a bit of a social media detox of late but we’re back n i had an early mornin call oot this mornin to this crackin oldskool John Deere 2040S with a puncture,fan I arrived on site it was safe to say the tube was “fu***d” so we set aboot gettin the wheel stripped n the al tube oot to discover roon I valve was fairly roosty kind n it had eaten in to the tube,so we got another tube fitted so the lads fae trac Scotland could get gan to de repairs on the infamous Rattray lighthouse
