Ford transit connect 1.6 hdi
Came in for a knocking noise from the engine only to discover he had a tank full of contaminated fuel
Killed the high pressure fuel pump and all 4 injectors
3 k later and it was back on the road

Had this 2017 mini in for running issues.the vehicle had been in another garage for 3 week prior and customer was told it needed a new fuel pump
The actual problem was a fuel pump control module ground fault.the wiring was traced back to the common ground point being loose which is located in the boot

2nd ecoboost wet belt this week
2015 model but still lost 6 teeth on the belt
Oil light on but luckily not done any damage
5.1 torque multiplier used for correct crankshaft pulley tightening procedure

This Ford fiesta 1.0 eco boost wet belt was just 10 yrs old and not done even done 100k which is the recommended replacement interval.
Perished belt and several teeth missing goes to show it’s well worth getting it done earlier
This car now needs a replacement engine so very costly for the customer
