Interesting car fact of the day... The last passenger car built with a factory-installed cassette player was the 2010 Lexus SC 430 hardtop convertible. I do miss having a tape player in the car.

Well as no one has owned up to being the Mechanic Panic high score ‘FAIRY’, we’re simply going to add in a Tinkerbell-style fairy godmother who occasionally flies about the place. Catch her and she’ll instantly fix every car on a ramp! How about that?!?

So Mechanic Panic has now been ‘optimized’ for mobile (whatever the hell that means. ) If you delete the old version, this new one is allegedly ‘bug free’ and much less data-heavy, so it’ll load up super-quick and not annoy your mobile. Though on a day like this who wants to be sat glued to their phone playing a dumb-ass mobile game, eh?

Who would have thought this cute kitty could break the fabric of space and time? Well, briefly, Mr Wellington did just that, as the entire physics-engine of Mechanic Panic went haywire when we added him in yesterday. But all is now right with our new cat-centric universe. Normal play has resumed!

Roll up, roll up, Mechanic Panic 2.1 is now LIVE!!!! June's high scorer, 'CATS WIN', decided that, rather than being in the game themselves, it was high time that Ken got himself a pet - or more specifically, THEIR pet. So behold... Mr Wellington has arrived, the new Estuary Garage cat!

Fix a few cars to spawn him into the game and, if you stroke him once in a while, he'll go off and squish some of those pesky garage Gremlins for you. As ever, you'll have to delete the old version of the game from your phone and clear your browser history before you load up the new version, but its a corker of an update! There's a new car to fix and some new music too... Squeeze classic, 'Cool For Cats'! Oh, and the high scores table has been reset to zero for good measure! Happy playing! estuarygarage.co.uk/game
