Huge congratulations to Jamie on passing his driving test today in a snow covered Forfar with only 1 minor fault 🚗👏

No more reminders at roundabouts — when giving way, make sure you stop behind the line… not halfway across it 🤔

Jokes aside, Jamie has worked extremely hard to get where he is today and fully deserves this result. A well-earned pass – enjoy the freedom and stay safe on the roads!

This also marks our very first pass as C&G Driving School – even if we’re still waiting on the roof boxes being delivered 🙈

🚗🎉 Huge congratulations to Erin! 🎉🚗

Absolutely buzzing to say Erin passed her driving test FIRST attempt in Forfar today with only a couple of minor faults — what a result 👏

From keeping an extra close eye on those blind spots 😅 to surviving the famous “Factory Shop” hill yesterday (we’ll just quietly forget about that tiny rollback 🙈), she smashed it when it mattered most.

And special mention to the Oasis CD that was on every single lesson — that’s going to be sorely missed… not many people these days have such good music taste 🎶😎

Well done Erin, fully deserved. Drive safe and enjoy the freedom! 🚙✨

From 5th January 2026, Brown’s Driving School and Graeme’s Automatic Driving School will officially be merging — bringing together two childhood friends, two Grade A instructors, and 18 years of combined experience covering the Dundee & Angus area.

And don’t worry — this will not affect any of our current students in any way. All existing lessons, bookings, and routines will continue exactly as normal.

👨‍🏫 Meet the Team

Cavin Brown – Manual Instructor, 7 years’ experience, Grade A Standards Check, offering Manual Driving Lessons, PDI Part 2 & 3 Training.

Graeme French – Automatic Instructor, 11 years’ experience, Grade A Standards Check, offering Automatic Driving Lessons, PDI Part 2 & 3 Training.

⭐ What is a Standards Check?

It’s the DVSA’s assessment of an instructor’s teaching ability. Grade A is the highest rating, recognising outstanding lesson quality, structure, and professionalism.

Sophie has done it! 🎉🎉

Absolutely brilliant result this morning in Forfar passing your Driving Test!

From accelerating like you were launching a rocket on moving off 🚀🚀 to not enough accelerating doing an uphill parallel park. 😅

However the compliments were there from the examiner and you done it!

Massive congratulations to Tyler! 🎉🚗

He passed his driving test first attempt this morning with just 3 minor faults — an absolutely brilliant result!

It was certainly a bit of a carry-on this morning… I discovered a nail in my tyre and ended up picking Tyler up 40 minutes late, and to top it off, the examiner’s iPad decided it wasn’t working, meaning we had to go old school with pen and paper. 😅

Despite all the delays and stress, Tyler stayed calm, focused, and smashed it.

A well-deserved pass — enjoy your freedom on the roads, mate! 👏👏

Huge congratulations to Adele! 🎉

Adele passed her driving test in Forfar this morning with only a couple of minor faults. The examiner described it as a pleasant, comfortable drive! 🙏

On Friday’s lesson, Adele was stressed to the high heavens with test day just around the corner, but after a calm and confident drive last night, we had a feeling today would be a great result — and it was! 💪

Great result, Adele — enjoy your freedom on the road! 🚘

And, just a little side note… I think we can all agree that your younger sister - Jaime, can no longer slag you for having a “green” license! 😂 Her pink one has met its match!

Huge congratulations to Mirren on passing her driving test this morning in Forfar with only a couple of minor faults! 🎉🚗

Mirren first came to me looking to boost her confidence — and she’s certainly done that and more. However, a big mention must go to her former instructor Bob Martin @ Bob Martin Driving, whose help and support played a huge part in getting her to this stage. 👏

Unfortunately, Bob couldn’t take Mirren to her test due to pre-booked commitments, but as a team we’ve helped her achieve that all-important driving licence! 💪

No more stalling now, Mirren! 🤣🤣 Enjoy the freedom on the road — you’ve earned it!🚘

We were up before the sun for the 7:20am test, but it was definitely worth it — the examiner even commented on how smooth and confident the drive was. 👏
