We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team in our family run garage.
Working 4 days per week on a rota basis will allow you to have a long weekend off every second week and give you Family time.

Location: Tayport
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week | 4 days per week
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

β€’ Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs
β€’ Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
β€’ Complete MOT preparation and related repairs where required
β€’ Carry out vehicle inspections and routine checks
β€’ Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
β€’ Maintain accurate records of work completed
β€’ Follow health & safety procedures and manufacturer standards
β€’ Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

β€’ Qualified or experienced as a Vehicle Technician
β€’ Confident diagnosing and repairing vehicles
β€’ Able to work independently and as part of a team
β€’ Reliable, professional and hardworking
β€’ Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
β€’ Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
β€’ A full UK driving licence is essential
