MOT Pass certificates are no longer automatically printed when an MOT is carried out.

If you would like a copy of your MOT certificate, you can download a PDF file for you to print at home from the Gov. website or to keep digitally on your electronic device.

This is also where you can check on your MOT advisories and recommendations at any point by just a few clicks.

Check the MOT history of a vehicle from 2005 onwards, including if it passed or failed, its mileage and why it failed, download MOT test certificate

We currently have intermittent issues with our phone line, unfortunately we are not booked in till next Tuesday for a rectification of this fault.

During this time we are limited to 1 phone line working for all incoming and outgoing calls, so we may not be able to answer immediately. As our phone line is internet based, it will not tell you we are engaged. If we don't answer after your first attempt, please try again a few minutes later, we are probably already on the phone.

Please be very careful when buying used cars on Facebook market place.

Yet another fake invoice for a car we have not worked on.

Even more obvious when someone puts a timing belt invoice in with a car that has a timing chain, but that may not be obvious to everyone else.

If you are viewing a car with any Timing belt history from us, please take note.

All of our invoices display matching Mileage, VIN, Vehicle registration, Make, model, year, engine size, fuel type and colour.

All vehicle information, time and date fonts match throughout the invoice is either normal or bold font. They do not differentiate.

Unfortunately it is now likely that these fake invoices are in the hands of other victims. However the person & garage doing this known to us & the police so more evidence the better.

We a local friendly MOT, Service and repair centre.
The role will be for a fully trained and experienced vehicle technician, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.
No bank holiday or weekend work required.
Closed during the Christmas period for essential rest and family time.
Please use these as a guide however pay would be negotiated upon skill level and qualifications.
Technician only £28,000 to £33,000
MOT and technician £30,000 to £35,000
Mastertech pay negotiable.

Its unfortunate that we have to say this, but it's happened enough times to make it a post.

We will not tolerate abuse or rudeness to any members of our staff.

We understand people rely on their cars, and without them people get can get frustrated, but we don't break them. It's not our fault. We are simply here to fix them, to the best of our ability as soon as we can. So we ask you not to direct your frustration at us. Anyone doing so will simply be refused service in the future.

Christmas Opening times. 🎄
Our last working day will be next Friday the 20th of December.
We will be back open for Thursday 2nd of January,
We will be closed Friday 3rd of the January.

Then back to normal the week of the 6th and onwards.

MOT Reminders have all been sent out for January so please get in touch to get these booked in before the 20th if needed.

All future bookings are now for January so a big thank you to everyone, new customer and existing for probably our busiest year yet. On that note, we're looking forward to a nice break as most of us haven't taken half as much holiday as we should!

Breakdowns: Please do not have your car towed to the garage and block the doors, we may be closed to the public but it's about the only time of year we get to fix our own cars!! We still need access 24/7. Thank you.

FRAUD WARNING - CHERITON & FOLKESTONE.
POLICE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.

Unfortunately it has come to our attention that some one is using one of our old invoices to commit fraud when selling second hand vehicles in the Folkestone / Cheriton area.

The invoice being used is for a cambelt / timing belt, originally from 2018, however the vehicle identification is being adjusted to suit the vehicle being sold, date and time to within a month or 2 or the selling date.

The person is operating from either Weymouth road, Cheriton.
Or Appledore Crescent, Cheriton, near some lock up / garages.

Here are the obvious signs it is not a legitimate job we carried out.

• The font they have used does not match that of our original invoice.
• Vin number does not match the vehicle being sold, or is missing from the invoice.
• Our invoices display detailed vehicle info, not just Make/Model.
• The invoice is for £330.
• Parts used have product numbers GAT6PK1903 & GATKP35623XS-1. These parts will only fit specific model Vauxhall insignia and are by a brand called GATES, if the vehicle has original branding, or other brand belts, it hasn't been done.
• Our current invoices (within the last 4 years) have a very different header style, not like the one being used.

HOW TO AVOID BEING SCAMMED - when buying a used car.
• Ask to see the service / MOT / timing belt history before you hand over money, take note of the MOT station location & where repairs have been carried out, ring the garage to confirm the work is legitimate.
• Check the current registered owner details MATCH the name & location you have gone to when purchasing off a private seller.
• If they are insistent on cash, or bank transfer to an account that does not match their details, do not transfer them money & check everything over, IF IT DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT, IT PROBABLY ISN'T!
• If you are meeting on a street corner, services, lock ups, car parks, this is an immediate red flag.
• Check the vehicle information before viewing, not all cars have cambelts, some have timing chains or gears, if there is timing belt information for a vehicle that has a timing chain, they are likely lying about other parts.
