A customer come in this week for an engine management light. It had been to a few other garages and they had all said it’s a sensor issue. On closer inspection we could hear the engine wasn’t running as it should do and that it had a slight air leak. We then stripped the inlet manifold down to find that the gaskets had gone hard and was letting in unregulated air so a new set of rubber gaskets were fitted and the car was back to running as it should be and the customer was happy we found the underlying issue. A customer complained of an oil pressure light on his 2015 Citroen c3 with 41 thousand miles on the clock. The cause of the oil pressure problem was the wet belt which is suppose to last 9 years or 100k. Well no job is to big for us so we cleaned the oil pick up out put a new wet belt on and fresh oil and filter and the customer was back on the road happy again

Sat 24th closed
Monday 26th closed
Tuesday 27th closed
Wednesday 28th open 8.30-5
Thursday 29th open 8.30-5
Friday 30th open 8.30-5
Saturday 31st closed
Monday 2nd jan closed
We shall then be open as usual from the 3rd of January weekdays 8.30-5 and Saturdays 8.30-12.30.

A customer today asked if we could clean her headlights as vision was poor and she had looked into getting new headlights to improve it. We was able to clean and polish them and this was the outcome saving the customer having to buy headlights at over £100 each. With that in mind and the nights getting dark earlier we are doing an offer for December, both headlights cleaned and polished looking like new for £20 per headlight. So the last few weeks here at auto care center has been quite busy again. We have been doing everything we can to keep our customers on the road and everything hassle free for them. We have also just taken delivery of our new tyre machine and wheel balancer so as of next week we will be able to replace tyres for you. Which as we are now in the season that is cold and wet tyres are an essential so give us a call or message to get prices on tyres for your vehicle. Last but not least congratulations to steven Jeffery on coming second overall in his euro rod which was flying the banner for us down at lydden hill after it came in and had a fine tune up before he went racing.
