Roadside call out tonight for a customer with a Vauxhall Corsa over in Newton Aycliffe. Lost all right hand indicators with the dash indicator flashing fast. Fault traced to a faulty flasher relay in the engine bay. Replacement carried for just this reason. Fitted and back on the road within an hour of calling. 💡 💡

Couple of jobs to start the week off.

Freelander non start and coolant fan running constantly causing battery drain. Corrosion/damp found in the engine bay fuse box causing issues to 2 relays. Relay replaced, everything dried out and back to full working order

Vauxhall corsa with no right hand side indicators or hazards. Faults traced to a worn/broken control stalk and corrosion to the right rear light cluster wiring plug. Replacement stalk sourced within 2 hours as well as replacing the corroded wiring to the cluster.

Just a few of the very varied jobs of the last few weeks. Including

Rotten stable door frame sections cut out and replaced with new steel work all cut and welded on site at a local farm.

Tack locker main steel door hinges fabricated and fitted on site at a local farm

2007 vw golf with various warning lights and scanning with MAF sensor injector faults. Traced to a worn through main wiring loom. All corroded sections cut out and replaced as required

2017 vw transporter with various issues including engine management light on, cooling fan running constantly, coolant warnings, temp sensor faults and auxiliary water pump fault. Again faults traced to corroded wiring on the lower wiring loom resulting in no readings from the coolant temperature sensor and no power to the secondary water pump. All corroded wiring replaced as required and vehicle back to full working order

Vw golf front engine alternator mounting replacement after the original failed causing the aux belt to snap and the engine to drop

A couple of trailer/tow socket replacements

Replacement transit rear light clusters

Plenty of replacement bulbs

Landrover discovery diagnostics finding a bunch of corroded wiring in the passenger footwell due to a bulkhead leak

Mercedes a200 headlight bulb upgrades to osram nightbreaker 💡

Ford transit step welding for an MOT pass

Vauxhall movano rear door central locking diagnostic and repair

Rear docking lights fitted to a 7.5t delivery wagon for clearer reversing on site

LED beacons fitted to the roof of a highways maintenance pick up

Auxiliary usb/cigarette lighter charging points to the rear tub of a Nissan pick up for charging lights and running a 12v cool box

Auxiliary socket replacement in a ford focus

Water pump replacement to a 2016 elddis caravan

Kitchen light fault in a 2009 motorhome caused by salt stored in a cupboard spilled and corroding the wiring to the light below

Motorhome kitchen mixer tap cartridge replacement

6x Durite micro spot lights
1x 40" LED light bar
Side and rear spots wired to separate switches using the existing dashboard switch blanks
Front light bar wired through a fused relay to the main beam.

Transit time again! Rear light mounting and lights/wiring replaced on this one after the original was damaged. Mounting ...

Transit time again! Rear light mounting and lights/wiring replaced on this one after the original was damaged. Mounting brackets fabricated and welded in place before mounting the bar and rewiring the rear end

More upgrades to the groomers van.
Single small waterpump and associated pipework removed and replaced.
2x 8 litre per minute 12v 30psi Sureflow pumps
Wiring replaced and re routed to above floor level preventing water ingress as found on the original.
Wired back to the dual leisure batteries so no drain on the van primary battery.
All joints made using heat shrink connections/solder joints and heatshrink tubing then protected with ribbed conduit once tested.

Must be transit week this week! Another one in for rear light faults. Pins to the rear light plugs corroded and a few green sections of wiring cut out and replaced to get it back out working.
