Provided that your car is serviced within the manufacture’s guidelines, with no known faults at the point of purchase, our warranty plans cover the majority of unexpected faults or failures*.

Our warranty plans are flexible enough to cover our customers wide variety of requirements** and include:

- Plans for any make or model of car
- Claims limits up to the retail value of the car at the time the warranty plan is purchased
- Repairs carried out by a network of approved garages, main dealers or local garages
- Minimum levels of repair contributions (i.e. excess payments)***
- Recovery in the event of a breakdown up to the value of £120.00
- Warranty plans that are simple, clear and affordable

*General wear and tear of the vehicle / **Optional add ons may be required/
***Excess payments can be reduced for a minimal fee

Taking a quick look under your bonnet to check your oil level could say you £££'s in the long run. Not sure how to do it? .........

- Find the dipstick and wipe it clean,
- Look for the line on the dipstick, dip the dipstick and check the level,
- If the top of the oil streak is between the min and max marks, the level is fine,
- If the level is below halfway between the marks, then we would recommend adding some oil,
- If it's close to or even below the minimum mark, then you definitely need to add some oil,

- As necessary, top up your engine oil (using the correct oil for your car)

It's simple to use our Warranty Assist warranty - just follow these three simple steps

1. Call Warranty Assist Repairers, on 0800 131 0030. Listen Carefully then select Option 2.

2. The Warranty Assist bookings team will organise an appointment for you at one of the approved garages. For convenience this will usually be within 5 – 10 miles of either your home addressor your current location.

3. The Service and Claims team will liaise directly with the approved garage, whilst keeping you fully updated throughout the process.

We take the hassle out of getting your car fixed and focus on getting you back on the road as soon as possible.

Would you know where the key to your locking wheel nut is? Could you find it if you got a puncture?

We recommend that you keep your locking wheel nut key inside your vehicle somewhere, either in the glove box or hidden away out of sight. If you need to pull over due to a puncture, you’re going to need to find it quickly in order to put the spare on.

My Car Warranty Optional Add On - Standard Repair Contribution

The standard repair contributution works the same as a policy excess (i.e. it is the amount payable by you before any work is undertaken and your car is repaired). The contribution on the standard plan is £75.00 per claim. However, this can be reduced to £50.00 per claim or £25.00 per claim for a small additional fee.

Every garage and workshop has a different labour rate for fixing car failures. The labour rate covered by the standard warranty plan is £60 per hour, however many workshops may charge more than this, particulary the main car dealers. For a one off annual fee we offer the option to double the labour rate to minimise the risk of any additional charges payable by you.
