Job description
Dargate mot centre is currently looking for an mot tester technician to join our team. Our MOT testers are responsible for guaranteeing that all vehicles are tested and that the company is meeting its obligations as an approved MOT Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MOT testing class 4-7.

Carry out all servicing and repairs as per manufacturer standards and with effective use of time and resources.

Detect and diagnose faults for further repair liaise with reception and customers.

Maintain a clean work place and safe environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Have a full, current MOT qualification
Full UK driving licence
42 h per week 8am-5.30pm monday-friday
£25000-£27000 per year (depending on experience)

We require a fully qualified mechanic to add to our small but productive team. We have a busy Garage and MOT station, MOT training can be given, it is important that the successful applicant is willing and able to work on all makes/models.

The successful candidate must be able to diagnose faults, carry out all repairs, maintenance and servicing work to cars and light commercials and must be able to work on their own initiative as well as be part of our small friendly team. They must be reliable, trustworthy and have excellent communication skills.
