We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your custom and support this year and to wish all of our customers and friends an very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year!

It has been an extremely busy year and we apologise the lack of Facebook posts. Like many people we're all very tired and are looking forward to a well-earned break.

We will be closing on Thursday 22nd at 1pm and will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January.

Once again Merry Christmas from all of the staff at Bull Lane Garage.

One of today's jobs was to carry out an emergency repair on an ambulance loaded with medical aid destined for Ukraine.
The wiper mechanism had seized and fractured leaving the vehicle with no windscreen wipers. With the clock ticking, ferry time approaching and no replacement parts available we had to carry out a temporary repair which within just over an hour had the wipers fully functioning and these 3 heroes on their way!

It's no surprise that Air Conditioning recharging and repairs are suddenly in great demand with this beautiful weather currently have.

There is so much more to Air Conditioning than just a recharge. We are seeing a lot of vehicles that have faults, often in the form of leaks where the owner has had the system recharged and it has only lasted a short time. Not only is this a waste of money but is very harmful to the environment.

We strive to be the best we can be and to keep up our reputation for diagnostic fault finding and fixing the faults that have other garages beat, we have over the last year invested in advanced level training and a lot of new equipment for fault finding and accurate leak detection for A/C systems.

We are able to offer recharging, servicing, leak detection and repairs for both R134A and the later R1234YF systems at competitive rates.

WE ARE OPEN!

Good morning everyone. We hope you are all as well as can be and keeping safe.

After studying the government guidelines for this latest lockdown we have decided to stay open as MOT's, servicing and repairs are still permitted to be carried out.

Obviously safety for both the customer and our staff is paramount and we have strict safety measures in place. We have reviewed our already stringent procedures and are happy that we can continue safely.

We will do our best to offer collection and delivery where possible.

We ask that all bookings and enquiries are made by telephone or email to help reduce face to face contact. We can then advise on dropping of and collection procedures.

We also request that all customer please wear a mask.

Just a little update from the team at Bull Lane-

After reviewing the latest lock-down legislation it is clear that garages are allowed to remain open for MOT's and essential maintenance so for us it will be very much business as usual!

Safety for our staff and customers is of course paramount so we have further increased our COVID safety processes. We strive to provide the best service we can but these additional safety measures do make things take a little longer.

We take vehicle de-sanitising seriously so as before, seat covers and floor mats are used and all contact/touch points on the vehicles are wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes before and after work takes place ensuring minimum risks.

To help us maintain the highest levels of safety possible we kindly request that all customers wear a face mask when entering reception and when dropping off park their vehicle and use the red key drop-box near reception. We regret that our waiting area has to remain closed for the foreseeable future and we ask that customers do not wait onsite.

Where possible we will endeavour to offer a free collection and delivery service if required. This will need to be prearranged when bookings are made.

So whether you need an MOT, your vehicle serviced, or any other work on your vehicle for that matter, normal service continues so that we can keep you safe on the road.
