Customer Update: Re-opening 4th May 2020

In my last post on the 23rd March 2020 I announced the tough decision to temporarily close the business to protect myself, my staff, the NHS and the general public in the current crisis.

Many weeks have now passed and after carefully considering all the advice and information given from the Government and our local Councils (namely that the NHS are working within their capacity and that it appears we have reached the peak and that the tide could be turning) I now feel it’s the right time to open the garage door for business once again, but with a new approach to how we work given the unprecidented situation that we are all in.

We will be open as from Monday 4th May 2020 and have opened up the telephone lines as from today to take bookings in advance.

Please be aware that strict social distancing measures will be place, along with many other ways of working, to keep things as safe as possible for everyone.

I would just like to personally thank you all for your loyalty, support and business over the last 22 years. I look forward to being of service to you in the very near future.

To additionally support us I would very much appreciate it if you would like and share my post to hopefully get the business up and running as quickly as possible in these uncertain times.

On 23rd March 2020 I had to make one of the toughest decisions of my life to close the garage temporarily after 22 years. I have put my heart and soul into the business but I had to make this choice to protect my staff, my customers and the general public.
These are uncertain times for us all, the guidelines keep changing at a rapid rate and no one really knows what lies ahead. I have to put our health first, before the business. I am a self employed person and don’t know what the future holds in these strange and difficult times, but feel it absolutely necessary to protect lives especially as we cannot guarantee to follow the guidelines of keeping 2 metres apart. I felt it was an impossible task.
I am now sat here 2 days later experiencing doubt and questioning myself - have I done the right thing? but ultimately I feel I have made the right choice to safeguard us all.
These are unprecidented times. I wish you all a healthy and a safe return once this crisis is over.
