🚗 BIG CHANGES: Driving Test Swaps (Effective 9 June 2026)
Moving your driving test is changing! From 9 June, the DVSA service will show you 3 specific options when you look to change your appointment:
1️⃣ Stay at your current test centre.
2️⃣ Move to one of the 3 nearest test centres at that time.
3️⃣ Return to the test centre where you first booked.
⚠️ How the "Original Centre" Rule Works:
- If you booked BEFORE 9 June: you can always move back to the centre you were booked at on 9 June.
- If you book AFTER 9 June: you can always move back to the centre where you first made that specific booking.

- ISLEWORTH: Your 3 nearest options are Southall (6m), Greenford (7m), Tolworth (8m).
- FARNBOROUGH: Your 3 nearest options are Guildford (12m), Chertsey (16m), Basingstoke (19m).
- WI******ER: Your 3 nearest options are Southampton (15m), Basingstoke (17m), Portsmouth (21m).
