Martin came along this evening with his Rotrex supercharged MGF to dial in some newly fitted injectors on the Emerald Engine management, the boost was dropping off quite steeply after about 5000 RPM which may be belt slip or a supercharger issue, needs to be investigated further….

Returning customer Derek came down tonight for some adjustments to the Nodiz ignition ECU and a carb re-balance, great power considering it was over 30 degrees in the Dyno cell, I’d expect it to show more on a cooler day 😎

Two vehicles done this evening, Martyn’s Mk1 es**rt came in running really badly and the first run showed it was extremely lean and wouldn’t rev past 5000 RPM, carb jetting and timing changes saw the power increase up to 120 hp, Darren who has come down before with his gorgeous triumph TR6 had some modifications to the ignition system that allows extra advance at higher RPM, good results on this too 😎

2 tuned tonight, Bob’s gorgeous Mk1 Mexico and Ted’s S2 RS Turbo Es**rt, Bobs Mk1 unfortunately had some issues with the rear brakes binding quite badly, no graph for this one as I forgot but the 80 bhp recorded was obviously more due to the sticking brakes, Ted’s RS Turbo on the other hand was stonking showing just shy of 200 BHP on a 30 degree day! 😎

Just a quick post to let everyone know im now booking tuning/mapping slots from early November onwards now, it’s been my busiest year ever, please don’t forget I only do this weekday evenings as I also have a full time day job, thanks to everyone who’s trusted me so far with their cars.
