Metisse Motorcycles Welcome to Metisse Motorcycles Company founded by Don & Derek Rickman
The brothers found success ran in their blood as motocross racers in 1960s England.

After tasting victory on the track, the Rickmans began designing and building their own motorcycle frames. Soon their distinctive designs allowed them to expand their business to include street machines and fairing production. Rickman-framed sportbikes, especially popular in America, were influential and helped guide the direction manufacturers took in design improvements of their own machines in

the 1970s and into the ‘80s. In the 1960s, Steve McQueen and Bud Ekins customised an original Metisse bike for desert racing to Steve's specifications, who reputedly said "That Metisse is my favourite for desert!". You can now own a completely British built Steve McQueen Metisse Desert Racer, an exact replica of the iconic legend's own modified bike. The 300 limited edition machines are endorsed by the estate of Steve McQueen and are an honest endeavour to recapture the spirit attached to The King of Cool. Metisse have been developing its own 1000cc engine for the past 7 years,
