🎉 One Year of Leisure Vehicles Direct 🎉

This week marks one year since we opened the doors at Leisure Vehicles Direct — and what a year it’s been!

In the past 12 months, we’ve completed 31 campervan conversions, carried out 82 MOTs, and delivered 55 vehicle services for our customers. It’s been a busy year in the workshop, and we’ve loved every minute of it.

We’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming back many familiar faces from our Sugoi days, while meeting some fantastic new customers along the way.

From continuing our work on TECH+TOUR to taking on a wide range of exciting projects — including a mobile bar for Lainston House Hotel, horse trailers, and motorhomes — no two jobs have been the same. We’ve also seen a growing number of larger, more ambitious vehicles coming through our doors.

The best part? Watching our customers’ ideas and dreams become reality.

We were proud to be headline sponsors of South Dubs Campout last year, and we’re excited to be doing it all again this year!

Meet Lenny 🍋✨

Lenny is a stunning Citroën HY Van replica bar, owned by Lainston House Hotel — and we were delighted to help bring him back to life ready for a busy events season!

The project involved a full refresh of the roof and bodywork. We removed the existing roof and replaced it with a brand new PVC structure, which was then wrapped in a bold golden yellow — giving Lenny that eye-catching finish he deserves.

On the bodywork side, we carried out rust treatment where needed, sanding back affected areas, refilling, priming, and colour matching to the original paint to keep everything looking authentic and seamless. We also replaced a missing window to complete the look.

To finish things off, Lenny was fully polished and cleaned before heading back to Lainston House Hotel — looking fresh, vibrant, and ready to serve in style at this year’s events.

It’s always great to work on something a little different, and this one definitely turned heads! 🍹🚐
