We offer MOT's, vehicle maintenance and repairs. We have a friendly team of mechanics, who are willing to provide that added value service for their customers, both new and existing. We are reasonable priced, dependent upon the work required, we are also Check-A-Trade registered.

To everybody,
we would like to let our customers know that
Unfortunately we are closed tomorrow due to the annual wickam horse fair taking place.
This means that we aren’t able to have anybody come down whether that’s for us to look at your car or general enquiries/bookings.
On the positive side our phone line is still up and running and we will be taking any bookings or general updates like normal😊

This week seems to be one of those weeks where everyone is forgetting their MOT expiry date and are giving us calls for last minute MOT’s, unfortunately we are very booked up in advance with MOT’s up until the week commencing 31st March 2025, we always try and help with MOT’s where we can, but due to time constraints we are not always able to slot in an emergency MOT.

With this in mind, we thought we would share the government site for checking when your MOT is due to expire https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status if you click on this link, pop in your vehicle’s registration number, it will then take you through to a screen asking you to confirm the make and colour, click Yes, press continue, this takes you through to a screen letting you know when your MOT expires and even in some cases when your vehicle tax is going to expire.

Also if you are one of our regular customers, you may notice on the top right hand corner of your windscreen a red and white sticker, displaying the expiry date of your MOT.@

Happy New Year!

We all know how depressing January is! It has 108 days, your broke because Christmas has wiped you out and then to top it all off your tax bill comes through and you have to find the money to pay that by 31st January!

Well every cloud has a silver lining, our silver lining is that we have a facility called ‘Payment Assist’ it works by the customer signing a credit agreement, where upon the cost is spread over four monthly payments. There are no charges and there is no interest either, the only criteria is that the work carried out in your vehicle has to be £400 and over. The payment plan is capped at £1000 and you clear a soft credit check.

If you are interest in this, then please ask a member of staff who will be more than happy to help you next time you bring your vehicle in.

It’s been an interesting day, had a few customers phoning up to book there MOT’s in for October and November.

But, here is an interesting fact, if you are a customer here at Wickham Car Servicing Limited we pop a small red and white window sticker, in the top right hand corner of your cars windscreen, this displays the date of when your next MOT is due, just incase you don’t get time to check online.

Please welcome the new editions to our courtesy fleet, these are to enable those customers of ours that are trades men/women to carry on their daily business activities, whilst their vehicle is in with us for MOT, servicing and repairs.

We take this opportunity to remind anyone who is wanting to use one of our courtesy vehicles, to ask for a ‘Loan Vehicle’ at the time of booking and also to bring with you, your drivers licence, so a copy can be taken for insurance purposes.

We have had a few customers when they drop their vehicles off for an MOT, where nearby is a good place to get a hot/cold beverage in Wickham Square, we have it on good terms that The Square Cow does a very nice breakfast amongst other food. So why not whilst you’re waiting for your MOT go and check it out!

Looking for recommendations for someone that can supply and fit a 2.75m of 2m galvanised finish palisade fencing to match what we already have existing, as per the pictures. Due to the recent storms the neighbouring fence has given way. I would have gone with the fencing company that we got the original fencing done with, but unfortunately they are no longer trading.
