🌞 A fantastic 1st time pass for Sophia today in a very sunny Lee-on-the-Solent! Maybe a little too sunny! 😂☀️

After starting lessons with me in May, we were lucky enough to find an earlier test date, and with lots of extra practice and support from Dad, we made sure Sophia was completely ready for today.

Sophia’s pass was definitely a joint effort. The private practice she was getting between lessons was invaluable, and the support from Mum and Dad made such a difference. Dad even sat in on a few lessons and messaged me whenever he had any questions, just to make sure he was giving Sophia the right advice and helping her practise in the best way possible.

So a huge thank you to you both for supporting Sophia in such a positive and helpful way. It really does make such a difference!

Today’s test was a pretty busy one, but it was nothing more than Sophia was ready for. She stayed calm, drove safely and confidently, and came away with a fantastic result… a 1st time pass! 🎉👏

Which means no more bus to college 🚌 and, Dad, you might finally get some of your time back after all those hours of lifts to ice skating! 😂⛸️

Congratulations Sophia! 🎊 You’ve worked so hard for this and you absolutely deserve it.

What a fantastic 1st time pass today at Lee on the Solent! 🚗💨

After having not such a great experience with previous instructors, you came to start lessons with me feeling quite confused about different areas of driving, especially roundabouts. We knew exactly what we needed to work on, and as you said to me today… you now love a good roundabout! 😂

You worked out how they work, what your job is on them, and most importantly, you can now confidently drive knowing exactly what you need to do.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed helping you get to this final stage of your driving journey. We’ve had plenty of laughs along the way, along with a bit of gossip! 😜

I can’t wait to see you out and about enjoying your new found freedom and no doubt you’ll soon be helping Mum out with all the driving too! ❤️

🌟 It’s Fabulous Friday for Sophie! 🌟

Now the tears have dried, that smile has come back out! 🥰

After Sophie messaged me a while ago asking about lessons and explaining her fears, I knew exactly how I could help her. I wanted to create a fun, relaxed environment in the car because I knew that anything making her feel uncomfortable could knock her already low confidence even further.

Well… we certainly had a few laughs along the way! 😂 The lessons started to feel more like driving with a friend, and Sophie absolutely flew. Before long, she was even talking about how taking a test might be a possibility and then she went and booked one! That in itself was a massive achievement. ❤️

Today seemed to come around out of nowhere and, yes, the nerves definitely kicked in! But we got there, and Sophie headed out on that 40 minute drive with someone new sitting beside her.

Her examiner was brilliant. He kept the atmosphere in the car calm and relaxed. Which was just what she needed.

Okay… we’re not going to talk about the parking! 🤫😂
What happens in the car, stays in the car!

Massive congratulations, Sophie! 🎉🥳 I honestly couldn’t be happier for you. You’ve worked so hard to overcome those fears and believe in yourself, and now you can look forward to all those adventures that are waiting for you. ❤️

I've been lucky enough to receive some amazing reviews this year.
That nervousness of sitting in the test centre never has gone for me, I know how nerves can affect you on a test but 100% we wouldn't be sat there if I didnt believe they were going to be safe drivers after the test.
Im always grateful that people trust me to teach them to drive 🚗

Today the dream became a reality! 🥳🚗✨
Congratulations Tilly on a well deserved 1st time pass! 🎉👏

We actually started our journey together quite a few years ago, but the timing was never quite right to fully focus on driving. I always kept your folder though, because I just knew you’d come back to finish what you started.
Once you had your theory test passed, you knew it was time to do it and today you absolutely smashed it!

You have worked so hard for this, and not just on your driving. A huge part of your journey has been mentally allowing yourself to believe that you could do it and recognising just how capable you really are. I’m so glad you kept coming back, because I was determined to be the one with when you finally passed your test. 🥰

We’ve had so many laughs, chatted about so many things and hopefully I’ve helped you realise that driving really isn’t as scary as you once thought.

And of course… we can’t forget how brilliantly you mastered the Starbucks drive-thru! ☕️

Tilly, you should be incredibly proud of yourself today. You believed, you persevered and you did it! I know your stay in touch and keep me updated on your adventures🚗

It's always a privilege when someone you know trusts them to teach them to drive, its also harder teaching someone you've known for years as the temptation to chat is always there! But once we set some ground rules to when we needed to be fully focused the driving became natural. Unfortunately 1st time round with a mixture of unexpected nerves and the heavens opened wasn't Shania's time to shine.. today was different, going back to lessons we realised that rushing doesn't get us anywhere quicker it just makes us make mistakes! No rushing today helped your staying focused, remembering you can drive but still need to concentrate. All fantastic lessons for when your kids are in the car and remembering you can say Shhhh mum needs to concentrate!
Couldn't be prouder of you today Shania, you've so much ability to go on and achieve your dreams and never let anyone tell you otherwise.. safe driving and look forward to you popping round for a cuppa!🚗
