A bit of distance and determination paid off for the lads from Southampton, they have been down for 3 days but only fished 2 due to the weather yesterday. First day on the tuna we did some miles but it came good in the end, then today plenty of sport with the bass ,then a little experiment that worked with black bream and couches, so a couple of good days with some great lads.

What a long weekend that was. It started Friday travelling down west to Penzance to fish the Mounts Bay Lure Competition. The weather was a little lively on the way but 2 great days for the competition, see results here https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1G42mus1oa/
Today we travelled back with a couple of local lads trying out some new marks to great results 👍 I will let the pictures do the talking.
Back out tomorrow but looks like a rest for Anglo and skipper on Wednesday.

They reckon size doesn't matter 🤔🤣 well the lads from the species league don't care as long as it the one they need, size doesn't matter 😉 they have been down for the last couple of days after anything that they haven't ticked off yet, easier said than done when they already have around 50 species already.
We managed to keep a few of them smiling 😃 with a few added to the tally, we did blank on the sharks today 😳 but made up for it with a nice smooth hound and spur dog so all wasn't a bust.
It's always great laugh with these very competitive lads see you next year.
