When the East winds blow that usually means a day off for the skipper 🀣🀣 not today, plenty of jobs to catch up on seeing as we've been full on.
Anglo has had a bit of pamper with a bottom scrub and service and starlink fitted ( skipper use only), a couple more jobs tomorrow then back on it Wednesday.
Time for a pint I think πŸ€”

The last 4 days we have had the Scottish contingent of the shore and boat species FB competition. They fished 3 days on Anglo and a day hunting mini species up and down the county. First day was sharking, didn't take long with five fish alongside then inshore for other species.
On their day off from Anglo we had an individual shark trip which we landed 11 to the boat.
Back to the lads from north of the border yesterday was at anchor for huss and conger which mostly were successfully, then the highlight was today for john dory and tope, 5 Anglers 5 JDs, but sorry to say only 2 tope but a great day.
Safe journey back to jock land see you next year lads.

Ok bruv, cushty, that all I've been hearing the last 2 days from the chavs from Kent 🀣🀣 great 2 days fishing with 21 sharks 🦈 yesterday and managed to get a tuna to stay on the hook today.
2 days of laughs and micky taking with a few fish thrown in, see you next year bruv.

Regular visitor to Anglo, Simon, brought down a couple of his mates for the weekend, a day on the sharks and a day tuna fishing. Yesterday the sharks went rather well with 19 to the boat up to 100lb, todays tuna not so good, as after hooking one and playing it for 40 min it slipped the hook 😒 the fight is never over until its on the lip grip.
If you look at the picture of the shark with the red spots we think πŸ€” it's from when they are feeding on the octopus πŸ™ the tentacles leave these marks.
Better luck next time lads, see you in 3 weeks.

Not the busiest day we have had recently but 7 to the boat biggest, 90lb.

A little break from the sharks 🦈 and tuna. Monday's individual trip had plenty of sport with species and the last couple of day testing conditions with a little chop 🀣 we had some good sport on the wrecks, nice to see a couple of JDs coming aboard.
Back to sharks next few days.

That's a wrap for the northern druids 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 a bit of an up and down weekend. Yesterday we hit the sharks 🦈 with 18 to the boat with one touching the magic 100lb, but then today we went chasing the tuna and that's as far as we got as the tuna forgot to turn up, but that's big game fishing 🎣.
We have just had 2 spaces become available for sharking on 1st September if interested get in contact.
