Falmouth Powerboat School is a well-established, family-run professional Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre offering powerboat, motorboat and RYA refresher courses on the stunning waters of Falmouth, Cornwall. s. Our aim is to make your time with us the best we can and for you to be safe out on the water. We pride ourselves as a friendly and approachable powerboat training and charterinng company which is located in one of the largest and most beautiful natural working harbours in the world. Situated off the Fal Estuary, in the heart of the historical maritime town of Falmouth. The local waters provide one of the most versatile and picturesque locations for Watersports in the Europe. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced courses in powerboating, We also work with another local training school Trysail (Falmouth) and Falmouth School of Sailing to offer both theory and practical Dinghy, Keelboat, yacht and motorboat based courses from Day Skipper through to Yachtmaster Ocean. Our courses range from half day taster sessions through to intensive 2-5 day courses. We are equipped with a range powerboats. We offer other specialist shore based courses in such as Sea Survival and HSE first aid courses and much more. We are happy to tailor the courses to cater for your needs. Due to the milder winter climates of Cornwall we are able to offer courses all year round. Falmouth Powerboat School’s instructors and skippers; are carefully chosen for their relaxed, enthusiastic but professional approach, to the way they pass on their skills and experiences in the courses that we offer. All skippers and instructors are trained to a high standard to ensure they can offer a high level of tuition.
