PS Waverley, a Clyde steamer, is currently moored at Falmouth Docks. Built in 1946, she is the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. Waverley is on her way home to Glasgow & the Clyde Coast for a final weekend of sailings (Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th October), bringing to an end her longest operational season in well over a decade & one that celebrated the 80th Anniversary of Waverley’s launch.

Well done to all those concerned for moving the unexploded bomb to a safer position. The Notice to Mariners today provided the new new position and the exclusion zone.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that unexploded ordnance exists in position 50° 08’N 005° 03’W. An exclusion zone of 500m radius from the above position, indicated by the red circle on chartlet 1, is in force for all vessels. All vessels must keep well clear of the exclusion zone. The centre of the exclusion zone is marked by a large unlit yellow special mark.
