What a beautiful machine! The Honda Africa Twin Classic HRC model is quite something. This is the second one we’ve had this year that we’ve checked and moved for our customers. These machines are rather rare and mostly come from abroad. Here’s a bit about them:
The first Africa Twin was born during the peak of the Paris-Dakar Rally in 1988. It was essentially an ‘off-road RC30’. Just like the RC, the XRV650 was made by HRC and was designed as a no-nonsense, road-ready copy of a race winner—in this case, the factory NXR750 V-twin, which, in 1986, won the Dakar for the first time and went on to win four consecutive times.
