autocareservices Garage Service Receptionist
We are looking for a service receptionist to work in our established, independent, family run garage in Marsh Barton. You Will be working as part of a team, providing a customer service role in reception. We need someone who has good general knowledge and experience of the garage repair trade. You must be able to multi skill and provide a responsive and efficient service.
40 hours per week: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm We do not open weekends 1 hour lunch break per day
Optional workplace pensions scheme.
Pay from £30,000 a year depending on experience.
Your duties will include:
Greeting and dealing with our customers and traders face to face.
Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.
Organising bookings for mots and the workshop.
Ordering parts and pricing up jobs for customers.
Keeping in contact with customers and the progress of their car.
Liaise between customers, workshop staff and parts suppliers.
Dealing with the online booking system and Facebook enquiries.
Invoicing jobs and taking payments.
Booking the courtesy cars in and out.
Keeping reception clean and tidy, and offering customers refreshments.
You are required to have:
A full valid UK driving licence.
Experience of working in the motor trade.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in customer service, and good customer service and telephone skills.
Good computer skills.
