Exeter Cruises Scenic boat trips from Exeter Quay to Double Locks Pub, with Pedalos & Row boats for hire in a supervised area of the river Exe.

We also operate one of the few remaining hand operated pull ferrys ‘Butts Ferry’ on Exeter’s main Quay. Enjoy a scenic cruise along Exeter's historic canal. 50 minute round trip or stop for lunch at a great family pub and return on a later boat. Daily service during June, July and August. enings to suit all types of events including weddings, stag/hen nights, birthdays and work functions. We also offer pedalo hire and operate Butts Ferry, the oldest pull ferry in Britain.

Next Tuesday Exeter Cruises will be hosting a little event in the evening the ‘Funder Games’ where teams will ‘race’ our row boats on a short section of the river Exe by Butts Ferry. 6pm-8pm.
Raising money for Hospice care, be great to have people down there cheering them on and raising money for a very just cause x 🛶🏁

Southern Comfort is back up and running. Starting our seven day service from Saturday 25th July to the 6th of September.
Look forward to welcoming everyone onboard. Still lots of summer evenings available for private hires - birthdays, work socials or just a get together with friends. BYO food & drinks. See you down there!

OPENING UPDATE. Due to a mechanical fault Southern Comfort cannot open this weekend! Very frustrating, sorry for any inconvenience caused. I will update the website and face book as I know more. Rowing regatta on Exeter quay tomorrow 11th July, so Butts Ferry and rental boats will not be open. Butts Ferry, little boats for hire on Sunday 12th. Thanks, hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying the heat!

On Sunday 7th there is a book market event on both sides of Exeter Quays, Butts Ferry will be free for all users all day.

Our little boats will be available to rent on the river Exe for the same date as above.

Southern Comfort will be open for the coming bank holiday weekend.
Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th & Monday 25th.
Not open mid week.
Then open on Saturday 30 & Sunday 31st.

Butts Ferry and our little boats will be open on the river Exe for the same date as above and hopefully mid week for the half term.
