Congratulations to Freya Cole from Church Lench, who passed her test first time in Worcester 02/10/26 with just 2 driving faults! Thanks to Mum Lisa’s foresight and contacting us 3 months in advance, Freya was able to start her lessons with Steve just 4 days after turning 17 in January. She’s progressed well and earned a great first time pass today. Steve says Freya was an absolute pleasure to teach, and that he really enjoyed their lessons. Well done Freya & now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Charlie Gregory from Elmley Castle, who passed his test second time in Worcester 30/09/26 with just 2 driving faults! Charlie missed out first time round in June having had a mare of a parallel park and was likely unsettled by the late switch to a courtesy car due to a breakdown with Steve’s car – these things happen! He then had to wait a bit longer as his original (2nd test) date was put back 2 weeks by DVSA cancellation. But he smashed it this this time and on a tough route too – very well done Charlie & now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Tom Smith from Evesham, who passed his test first time in Worcester 11/09/26 with just 2 driving faults! Tom started lessons in March having already passed the theory and having waited patiently on our list. Today’s test was planned after his first lesson, was booked in April and Tom has made steady progress after a bit of a slow start. With A levels out of the way from the end of June, a more intensive approach helped him move along and be ready for his practical. He had to conquer the nerves beforehand but held it altogether to achieve an impressive and well-deserved first-time pass! Now enjoy safe driving Tom but watch that “itty bitty” steering!

Congratulations to Chloe Pilcher from Ashton Under Hill, who passed her test first time in Worcester 10/09/26 with just 3 driving faults! Chloe started lessons in March having just passed her theory and today’s test was booked after 2 just lessons. After all the dithering and dawdling early on, Chloe has developed into a most confident and competent driver and unusually, was buzzing and excited to take her test when picked up to head off to Worcester this morning! It’s a wonder how she’s been able to fit the lessons into her very busy life! An impressive and well-deserved first-time pass & now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Lawrence Tarver-Stevens from Evesham, who passed his test first time in Worcester 17/08/26 with 4 driving faults! Lawrence started lessons with Steve in February with an assessment as he'd been learning before and as he’d already passed the theory. So there wasn’t a long wait for lessons to start & to get a test booked for today. Lawrence has progressed well & achieved a solid pass, as well as having the honour of the first test and pass in Steve’s posh new car! Well done Lawrence and now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Amy Bird from Wickhamford, who passed her test at the 7th time of asking in Worcester 13/08/26 with just 1 driving fault! This was just her 2nd test with us, having missed out 3 weeks ago – then it was just 2 faults on arguably the hardest route but she faffed the reverse park near the start. Her 1 fault today was faffing the forward park but not quite so badly as 3 weeks ago! This is huge for Amy, who’s been learning to drive for half of her life. She came to us 2½ years ago with zero confidence and another test booked having failed so many & just being put back in again, without sorting out the issues – not her fault. So that test was cancelled and we started the rebuild. We’ve rebuilt her confidence, filled in the gaps and taken her to Worcester instead of Cheltenham which has made a difference. She had to redo the theory which took a while, but once passed, we booked a test for July when she so narrowly missed out. But this gave her renewed confidence as she knew she could do it – and today was just a procession. Thanks too to Amy’s family & friends who have been taking her out for practice outside of lessons which has been a great help. Very well done Amy, we’re so pleased for you and proud that you’ve got there in the end, and now you can enjoy safe driving. As Steve and I say, it’s days like these which really make our job worthwhile.

Congratulations to Charlie Wallbank from Sedgeberrow, who passed his test 2nd time in Cheltenham 12/08/26 with 5 driving faults! Charlie started lessons in January after he’d passed the theory. His first lesson was on a sub-zero early Saturday morning with the car blower not working so we had to cut the lesson short as we were frozen stiff, and he passed in 35 degree heat – some contrast! Charlie was very unlucky not to pass first time when he made a mistake on the penultimate roundabout less than a minute from the end of the test! Fortunately, he only had to wait 3 weeks for another go thanks to Mum Tracey’s determination on the booking system! So, that’s all 3 Wallbanks – Tom, Harry and Charlie successfully taught to drive and apparently there are no more to follow. Well done Charlie, enjoy safe driving and that’s one thing to come off your bucket list! 🙂
