Congratulations to Vitor Da Silva Bernardo from Evesham, who passed his test first time (second time around) in Worcester with just 2 driving faults! This was a great effort, considering how nervous he was, especially with a very early 7.13am test and with a late switch to my car from Steve who had car trouble. Vitor went the wrong way at the first roundabout but recovered well to achieve a most impressive pass! Afterwards, he headed home to go back to bed! Very well-done Vitor, now enjoy safe driving and this time continue to do so! All the very best!

Congratulations to Mark Mitrov from Bretforton, who passed his test first time in Worcester 29/05/26 with 8 driving faults! Mark started lessons in November having had a wait on the waiting list. Today’s test was planned after just 4 lessons, and he’s progressed well though found things a bit of a struggle at times. Mark has passed with us almost 15 years after Dad Zlatko did so (2 faults). Well done Mark and now enjoy safe driving, and as you have been taught and not as you think! 😊

Huge congratulations to Hannah Russell from Worcester, who has passed her test first time in Worcester 08/05/26 with 4 driving faults! This is quite a story so please bear with! I (Andy) first met Hannah in 2013 when she started her journey learning to drive at the young drivers’ scheme that we attended. Once she gained some confidence, she had two bouts of learning to drive during 2014 and after a break again in 2018. Her problem was that she could drive but couldn’t get past the theory. Roll on to autumn last year when Dad Paul got back to us that Hannah had at last passed the theory and was ready to get back behind a wheel again! Worcester was a better fit for Steve now, and he got Hannah driving again in November and a test was booked for today. However, more late drama with a warning light on Steve’s car the day before her test, so a most fitting end occurred today, with Hannah taking her first test in my car with both Steve and I to accompany her for a fabulous first-time pass, so long in the making! Hannah has joined sisters Lauren (with Steve Feb 2015) and Beth (with Andy July 2016) as a first-time pass hattrick which is not a regular occurrence! Very well done Hannah, for conquering the theory, your nerves and Landsdowne! We are both so pleased for you and what a lovely end to the story today! Now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Mae Arago from Evesham, who passed her test first time in Worcester 07/05/26 with 6 driving faults! Mae had a tough route, making this a more impressive pass, though it could have been even better! Mae said to Steve that she thought that she was being pulled up on the left a lot, and it was mentioned in the debrief that Mae was not checking her mirrors properly when pulling up on the left – so that would explain why we guess! Well done Mae and now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to James Pope from Sedgeberrow, who passed his test first time in Worcester 16/04/26 with just 3 driving faults! James had to wait for 7 months after turning 17 due to a sporting injury but had passed the theory by the time he started in mid-October. After 3 lessons his practical was booked for today and after lots of hectic hard work especially towards the end, he’s passed with flying colours and well deserved at that! Just as sister Jess did back in January 2023. Well done James and now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Sam Whatmore from Tewkesbury, who passed his test first time in Cheltenham 24/03/26 with just 3 driving faults! Sam started his lessons at the end of June, 3 weeks after turning 17. He struggled a little early on but stuck with it and has progressed very well. In September, a practical test was booked for 6th March, but when he was all ready and primed to go, the test was rearranged by DVSA at just 4 hours-notice! So, he’s had to wait a bit longer but has still got the job done impressively today. Very well done Sam and now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to George Roebuck from Sedgeberrow, who passed his test first time in Cheltenham 25/02/26 with 5 driving faults! George started his lessons late August, a month after turning 17. He was a nervy driver from the start, but made good progress and today’s test was booked back in mid-September with a long way still to go. The nerves have come back to haunt him, especially with the racecourse roundabout proving to be an Achilles heel, as well as busses at bus stops especially on his mock test – so much so that we always dreaded involvement with a bus at the racecourse roundabout! The nerves were helped today with a timely Mars bar & banana, and a well deserved first time pass was duly achieved. Very well done George and now enjoy safe driving!

Congratulations to Lily Pye from Hampton, Evesham, who passed her test first time in Worcester 19/02/26 with just 2 driving faults! Lily started her lessons in July last year, a month after other half Charlie had passed first time with us with a clean sheet, so it was a tough act to follow! Lily has progressed really well while conquering her nerves all along, being reassured that each new skill wasn’t as bad as she’d thought it was going to be, right up to today’s test! She’s passed with flying colours in a different car than she’s been used to, so very well done Lily & now enjoy safe driving!
