Our Story

At Tony James Designs, we are a dedicated design and installation paint protection film dealership. We install our inhouse designed computer generated patterns for standard models, specialising in the design and installation of bespoke custom patterns. We have experience of working within motorsports and with UK – European/UK OEM factory clients and offer a complete service to both car and motorcycle enthusiasts with first class quality of care and customer satisfaction. A Message from Tony Having spent 4 years with VentureTape, pioneers of the original VentureShield paint protection film, my remit was to develop the UK and European car template library used within the Authorised VentureShield dealer network. Projects included: OEM Projects: Working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) throughout Europe, developing aftermarket products for Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen Audi Group and Morgan Motor Company; I undertook factory commissions to design patterns for own brand aftermarket paint protection options, including various assembly line non-compression tape designs which are used at the vehicle assembly stage of manufacture. Motorsport Projects: Design and installation of bodywork and monocoque protection patterns for F1/GP2 and F3 teams. I then moved on to a prestigious British sports car manufacturer, responsible for unit sales and aftermarket sales projects, which included the introduction of paint protection film into their accessory portfolio.
