We had a VW Transporter/Multivan in today for rough running when Idling. Once we had got some live date from the ECU we could see the fuel pressure was fluctuating from low to very high. We found the fuel pressure regulator was faulty. We replaced the complete fuel rail unit and now running as it should. The customer also requested for us to remove the stop/start function and remove the speed limiter. We gave this job to Surrey Remaps who carried out a Stage 1 remap, removed the stop/start function and removed the speed limiter. Now the VW Transporter makes more power and torque + better MPG

We had a really nice MK1 Es**rt in for a new Gartrac pedal box, front brake pads and a check over. The Gartrac pedal box uses original mounting points but we had to make new brake lines up for it due to the old ones not reaching the new brake master cylinders. We also fitted twin accelerator cables to the twin webber carborettors **rt
