I designed and built this to keep ourselves as we were planning to renovate a house in the Scottish highlands. I needed it to be extra warm for the winter months, sound proof for the howling winds and very comfortable for 2 people yet still practical for full time living off grid. I wanted to have lots of glass around the seating area for looking at amazing mountain and Loch views be able to star gaze from bed & hopefully see the northern lights.
Being a big fella I also wanted a very large wet room without compromising the rest of the build too much. Plenty of piping hot water was also essential. I needed a proper family fridge with ice box and an oven.
Living permanently off grid for up to 12 months a very powerful electrical system, large water tanks that can’t freeze were absolutely essential to me.
Plenty of storage was required too.
I’m not really one for watching TV whilst camping but felt we needed a smart TV too.
We were planning to glamp luxuriously, not rough it out in the wilds.
But we ended up buying a house ready to move into in rural Northern Ireland instead (I know, you couldn’t make it up).
So as a result we just don’t need a motorhome with such a high specification now.
So reluctantly, here’s my absolute pride and joy up for sale.
