Can you believe it? Our very own Connor Bond has been with us an incredible 10 years!

To celebrate, we caught up with Connor and asked him some important questions related to this milestone.

1. How do you feel about reaching the 10 year mark at Dealer Auction?

It’s gone very quick! It’s a great milestone though and I’m proud to have been here for 10 years.

2. What’s made you stay at Dealer Auction?

Definitely the people. I’ve worked with some great people over the years, and I’ve always enjoyed the job and the relationships I’ve built with customers.

3. Do you remember your first day?

I remember being completely new to the motor trade and having a lot to learn. I didn’t think I’d still be here 10 years later!

4. What’s one thing you know now that you wish you’d known 10 years ago?

Probably not to overthink things. You learn a lot just by getting stuck in, speaking to people and figuring things out as you go.

5. What’s your biggest accomplishment?

Progressing through the business and getting to where I am now. I’m proud of the relationships I’ve built with both customers and colleagues along the way.

6. What’s something we might not know about you?

Despite playing golf for over 10 years, I’m still waiting to become good at it! 😂

So he might not be a golf professional yet, but we definitely scored a hole-in-one by keeping Connor on our team for so long.

Volvo remained the firm favourite in August’s EV performance reviews top chart, taking 3 of the top 4 spots with the XC90, XC60 and XC40.

There were also two models staging a comeback in the top 10 this month, the BMW X5 shot back up to first place after dropping out of the chart last month whilst the Ford Puma secured it’s first placing since 2024.
