July 27th, 1990, 3.30pm. The final 2cv rolled off Citroen's production line at their Mangualde factory, Portugal. A two tone grey Charleston, built to Portuguese Market spec.

Thirty six years on, the spirit lives on. The international friendship of the 2cv transcends borders, politics and culture. And every day we tend to various 2cvs (and derivatives!), keeping these plucky little machines that remain, on the road and in fine health.

It's a way of life, really.

**SOLD**: 1988 2cv6 Special

We are pleased to offer this delightful blue and cream 2cv6 for sale. Having been off the road a few years, we have given it a light recommission and general fettle to make it a good, solid usable car for years to come. Not technically a Dolly, although proudly wearing its Dolly name, but is finished in the same colours of the one-year-only 'blueberries and cream' Dolly of a couple of years earlier. A new roof and smart chrome bumpers and wheel trims finish the scheme nicely.

This 2cv benefits from a galvanised chassis and a solid, rot-free bodyshell and panels. Mechanically it is in fine fettle, having been serviced and prepared for the road. It starts on the button and runs well, with an electronic ignition and new coil fitted to help keep it this way! The underside has been treated with Dynax wax coating.

Inside, everything works as it should and is neat and tidy with floor carpets and a rear parcel shelf too!

All in all a good, well sorted 2cv with no major issues ready to drive away and enjoy. It will of course come with full MOT. So why not treat yourself to a little summer present and enjoy some roof-open motoring!
