Once completed it was put on the ramp for final check over, the chassis was treated internally with Dinitrol wax oil, all panel seams touched up with more Dinitrol. If that wasn’t enough protection everything excluding brakes was given a clear coat of ACF50 www.acf-50.co.uk [ 3 more words. ]

Two LED work lights were fitted to either side of the roof and are operated by a switch on the dash. The spare wheel is mounted using a ManTec spare wheel carrier which opens with the back door but which is supported by the body so as not to damage the rear door. Black tread plate was fitted to the wings with Air force vents and tread plate on the bonnet.

A cubby box was installed in the matching Land rover upholstery. A high level brake light fitted. New speakers in the rear quarters Side steps mounted along with colour coded rock sliders, the step brackets were adjusted to sit a little lower so the steps could actually be used and rose jointed braces made to enhance looks and stronger than originals. Picture 98 – The front & rear seats were re upholstered using the Ex Moor trim kits. A pair of new foam bases and backs were covered with Land Rover covers. OME heated pads were fitted under the new covers.

La Salle side panels were fitted to the inner sides, disappointed in their workmanship as they required tidying up and a lot of amending to fit correctly as did the roof trim... La Salle roof liner fitted. A interior LED strip light was fitted for those dark evenings.
