💥 FIRST TIME PASS 💥

Another test day drama this week!
Turning up for his test on Tuesday to find out his examiner was off…getting a new date when I can’t do…to finding this cancellation for today…but 💥 there was no stopping the lovely Reggie McQue from securing his first time pass this morning!

Reg has been a delight right from the start! Such a lovely, polite young man with pure determination to achieve his pass and independence…and who tried to keep today’s date a secret!

Oh Reg, you absolute star! You’ve given it your all every lesson…proper critiqued yourself…determined to making yourself the best driver!

Congratulations again and best wishes for the future…can’t wait to see that dream car with your name on one day! 💪🏼

Having taught 2 of Reg’s siblings, each time his mum has a countdown!

Bittersweet moments like this! What can I say about the very, very lovely Olivia Roberts? All I can bring myself to say is I’m going to miss her but my goodness she deserves this amazing pass!

Only joking…another morning test today! Liv has worked so hard, been determined and dedicated for this result…but often needing a ‘good chat’ to make her realise how good she is! All she’s wanted is this result…and I couldn’t be more proud!

Leaving the TC after my first test this morning I got my pupil to take a picture of the DOUBLE rainbow that had suddenly appeared! 🌈 🌈 Having chatted to Liv on her lesson last night about new beginnings I knew today was her day!

Liv, what on earth am I going to do without you? The laughs, the stories, the chats and the advice…I’ll miss it all!
You’ve been an absolute star throughout your lessons!

With your busy schedule and work this pass just makes life so much easier! Enjoy your car shopping…don’t forget my car photo so I know who to wave to!

🌟🌟PASS number 50 this year! 🌟🌟

The VERY early alarm clock this morning in the cold and dark was absolutely hideous…but for this result it was absolutely worth it!

But not without its drama! Arriving at the Test Centre at 7am, her examiner off sick but another candidate not turning up…a beautiful twist of fate meant her test was a bit delayed going out whilst the new examiner sorted the paperwork…but, pfft, who cares now!

The very lovely Sophia Kaloudis is the very proud owner of a lovely, thoroughly deserved, new pass certificate…Sophia, I am so proud of you overcoming your test day nerves with a fantastic drive!

Sophia, you’ve done it! You’ve worked hard, fretted and been frustrated but you knew what you needed to do to secure this result! 👏🏼

To greet us at the end of her test was a beautiful sign of new beginnings 🌈 (and no that doesn’t mean the new car you’ve had your eye on! 😂)

Thank you for being such a delight to teach and get to know! The conversations have been funny and I’ll definitely miss you!

Congratulations again and best of luck for the rest of university!

When you arrive for your test 3 weeks ago and you’re told your examiner is off sick…and you’re given this new date!

This is what happened to the super chill and laidback, Josh Pendrey-Crompton…and when I asked him if he wanted to look for a closer date, he replied ‘Nah…looks like it’s all aligning for the 7th’

So the 7th it was…and the result was exactly what he wanted, deserved and got!

Josh has taken all his lessons in his stride…quietly confident but determined to achieve his independence! On the way to the TC today he announced he knew one of his friends was taking his test the hour before…and seeing his friend with his pass certificate as we were waiting to park up added just a squidge more pressure on Josh! Well you’d think so!

Josh, it’s been a pleasure to help get you on the road…I know you’ve already got a car shopping trip planned so don’t forget my car pic! Another taxi for mum and dad! 🚕 (Tanya, I already requested a lift on Saturday night but he said no! 😂)

The lovely Jodie Atherton is doing a rain dance now at the thought of never having to do the school run in the rain ever again…her words! (The irony is the rain just about held off for her whole test this afternoon at school time!)

So here’s the story about Jodie…Jodie’s partner, Kris, passed with me back in my first year (almost 10 years ago!)…and then a few years ago he contacts me and asks me if I’ll teach Jodie…I knew she’d already had lessons a good few years ago and done lots of driving with Kris…but Jodie had all but given up on her theory…especially when life takes over…however, a bit of regular nagging from Kris, her mum and me when I bumped into her often at the supermarket and she got it done!

Jodie, I’ll miss your lessons and weekly catch up…but I’m sure I’ll still see you each week whilst I’m shopping! 😂 You’ve given it your absolute all for this result and with a fabulous drive you deserve every bit of adulation today!

Thank you for my beautiful flowers and lovely card…Rory (my car!) will miss you too! 🚙💨

An outstanding drive from the very lovely and VERY chilled Cameron Probert sees him secure his pass certificate with only 2 driver faults!

Cameron has worked super hard for this but you can’t tell cause he gives nothing away…just a quiet, determined confidence!

Cam, I’ll miss seeing you riding everywhere! 🚲 Just think how warm it will be in your car now! Super proud of you today…even identifying where you picked up your driver faults before the examiner told you!

Such a polite young man who really has been a pleasure to teach!

💥 FIRST TIME PASS 💥

A fantastic drive from the lovely Matthew Coombes sees him secure his pass certificate this afternoon with only 2 driver faults! (Well actually only one when driving…his ‘Tell Me’ answer wasn’t the words the examiner was looking for!)

Matthew only turned 17 in April but had and has done masses of driving with his dad since his birthday! Always very keen to push himself further…this result was never in doubt!

Matthew, it’s been a pleasure to help you gain your independence…definitely dedicated and determined and another pupil who’s actually been excited to take the actual test!

Best wishes for the future…I hope it all works out for you! Now your dad can have all his spare time back…but thanks Steve!

Will I see Matthew on the roads…I very much reckon so as he only lives a few doors up from me! 😂 But still never forget to wave!

The perfect weather and a fab drive from the lovely Teddy Woolland to pass his test this afternoon!

Teddy has worked super hard for this result, no end of questions (love it!), and a desire to achieve his licence before his theory expires…having only started learning in April he’s done pretty well!

Teddy, you thoroughly deserve this result today…get that seat in the correct position and you’re away! 🚙 💨

Best of luck for the start of your university course…not the greatest start missing your first lecture this afternoon but this result was definitely worth it!

💥 FIRST TIME PASS with me! 💥

Well it just about stayed dry long enough this morning for the lovely Megan Wilson to pass her test first time with me!

Meg started her driving journey before going off to university and after two years decided the time was now right to get back to it! So another theory test taken this summer, lessons with me and copious amount of driving with her parents meant that when this test came up she was going to be ready!

Meg, it’s been an absolute pleasure to help get you on the road…you’ve been determined and dedicated to secure this pass! Super proud of you!

Megan’s sister Lucy passed with me just over a fortnight ago meaning their parents have just gained two taxi drivers in a matter of weeks! 🚕 🚕

I wish you all the very best for your 3rd year of University…you can chill now you’ve secured your beautiful pink licence!
