Good evening folks
Today we had 12 passengers onboard
For a 3hr wildlife trip
We left Burghead Harbour and headed towards Lossiemouth,
We arrived just off Lossiemouth lighthouse, along the way we didn't see much apart from a few seagulls,
So we headed about 5 miles out to sea,
Where we came across quite a few different groups of birds,
The first group weren't really feeding, neither were the next group but in the distance I could see through my binoculars, diving feeding birds, gannets lots of gannets
So we headed over
Once we arrived at the feeding frenzy,
It wasn't long, when one of our passengers thought he saw a dolphin,
I instantly already had a thought it was a minke whale
Not 1, but 3 minke whales feeding,
Amongst the diving gannets,
Which is fabulous to see,
It wasn't the nicest of days, quite choppy and raining, but I don't think that bothered anyone.
Unfortunately i didn't manage to get any videos, I was trying to keep the boat into the waves, to give everyone onboard a comfortable boat ride,
I do have some short clips from one passenger Ian.
I will add shortly,
Cheers for now Barry π
