😂 YOU HEARD THE NUT HIT THE FLOOR.

A clear little ting.

It definitely landed.

Gravity has completed its part of the contract.

So why can’t you find the bloody thing?

You look down.

Nothing.

Move the trolley.
Check your boots.
Look under the tyre.
Ask the apprentice if they’ve seen it.

Now there are three people searching for something worth less than the time it took to say “don’t move”.

Someone produces a magnet.

Suddenly you’ve found a screw from 2009, a blade nobody recognises and enough metal filings to build another car.

Still no nut.

Then you stand up and it drops out of your trouser turn-up.

Of course.

You’ve spent twelve minutes searching the building while personally transporting the evidence.
