Today we were called out to supply and programme additional keys for a newly bought 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron.

The customer had recently purchased the car and wanted extra keys added for peace of mind. We attended the vehicle, supplied the correct keys, programmed them to the car and tested everything before handing back.

Another Audi sorted and another customer with spare keys ready to go.

Citroën C4 SpaceTourer 2022 – Spare Proximity Key

Another customer now has the peace of mind of having two fully working keys.

The customer purchased their Citroën C4 SpaceTourer with only one key and wanted the missing key removed from the vehicle for added security.

We:

• Deleted the old/missing keys from the vehicle
• Reprogrammed the customer’s existing OEM key
• Supplied and programmed a new proximity key
• Fully tested both keys before completion

The vehicle now has two working keys, with the missing key no longer programmed to the car.

VW Polo – New Spare Key Supplied & Programmed

A nice little extra job while we were out today carrying out a paint repair.

The customer mentioned that the second key for their VW Polo had stopped working and the key blade had also snapped.

As we offer both mobile SMART repairs and auto locksmith services, we were able to sort everything during the same visit.

🔑 Volvo XC90 2010 – Spare Key & Starting Issue
Customer got in touch looking for a second key for their 2010 Volvo XC90, as the original key had started playing up when trying to start the vehicle.
They wanted to find out whether the issue was with the original key or the vehicle’s immobiliser system.
We supplied and programmed a new spare key and tested it with the vehicle. This also allowed us to confirm whether the starting issue was related to the original key.
Having a working spare means the customer is now covered if the original key fails completely.

Vehicle Lockout – 2022 Škoda
Called out to a 2022 Škoda after the customer accidentally left their keyless-entry key inside the car, only for the vehicle to lock with the key still inside.
We gained entry to the vehicle and then tested the key, where we found a simple but surprisingly common issue.
The key battery had recently been replaced, but the protective sticker had been left on the new battery, preventing it from making proper contact and supplying full power to the remote.
Sticker removed, battery refitted and the key was tested and working correctly again.
A small mistake that can easily leave you locked out!

🔑 Peugeot 308 (2023) – Spare OEM Proximity Key & Original Key Repair
A customer contacted us needing a spare key for their 2023 Peugeot 308. They also mentioned that their original proximity key would only start the car when placed in the emergency key position, with the hands-free function no longer working.
After diagnosing the fault, we programmed a genuine OEM spare proximity key and repaired the original key. We then reprogrammed and tested both keys.
Both proximity remotes are now working perfectly, with full keyless entry and push-button start restored. Another happy customer back on the road! 🚗
