Happy World EV Day from P+B! ⚡

Electric vehicles have come a long way in a relatively short space of time, and we’re proud to have played our part in helping thousands of drivers and businesses make the switch.

Across personal and business leasing, EV Salary Sacrifice and fleet, we’ve seen first-hand how quickly electric vehicles have moved into the mainstream. Meet the Pinzgauer!

An all-terrain, 4WD military utility vehicle, perfect for crossing mountains, tackling the harshest terrain imaginable… or, if you’re Arnold Schwarzenneger, going to get the Morning Paper.

One of our long-standing clients is looking to find a new home for this particular Pinzgauer. Comfortable, family-friendly, perfect for city driving, ideal for school pickup. It’s not any of those, but it is pretty awesome.

Admittedly, it might not be our first recommendation for ULEZ, and the guy fainted when we asked him what the Benefit-in-Kind was.

September is always one of the most interesting months in the leasing calendar. Alongside the new 76 plate, manufacturers are approaching the end of Q3 and pushing hard to hit their sales targets. Here’s Gloucester Rugby’s Afolabi Fasogbon taking delivery of his brand-new Mercedes E200 earlier this month. Safe to say he was pretty happy with it!

Having worked with electric vehicles since their early adoption, we can confidently say that one of the biggest barriers to making the switch has always been charging, particularly for drivers who cannot install a charger at home.

Through our partnership with Paua, our EV Salary Sacrifice drivers can now reduce the cost of public charging by including a fixed monthly charging allowance within their salary sacrifice agreement.

That allowance is loaded onto a Paua EV charge card, giving drivers access to a wide network of public charge points while paying for their charging from their pre-tax salary.
