12-hour detail on a 1966 Citroën DS — all captured in a 1.53-second video.
There were far too many clips from the prep phase to include. Multiple body panels were removed and deep cleaned, and each type of metal was carefully treated to bring it back to life. This isn’t a show car either — it does around 5,000 miles a year — so some wear is expected compared to a full resto-mod.
With 2-pack paint, which is notoriously hard to polish, getting the right pad and compound combo was key. For the package the customer wanted, I think we achieved the best possible result — even though I’d have loved a few more days to refine it further 👌
Once the weather improves, I’ll share more photos so we can see it in its full glory.
