Things we love to see…

Trevor Stephens winning “Bike of the night” award at BIKE Night's at The Crown Inn King's Somborne.

We built this bike around 11/12 years ago. Lots of work including lots of performance engine work went into this build. In fact Steve Piper kept it as his own bike for a long time.

Glad to see Trevor enjoying the bike 😎

Caught just in time…

This 1450 twin cam had covered 31,000 miles.
Although the outer cam tensioner looked ok, the inner tensioner was close to failing and actually had a crack forming through it.

Our recommendations are to change the sprung tensioners at 30,000 miles purely for reasons like this.

We’ve taken on a fair few new customers lately as you can imagine.

We have found a few grotty horrors when servicing some of the bikes. A gentle reminder that although your bike maybe low mileage annual servicing is still worth it.

That primary oil really did stink the workshop out 😷😂☢️

These are the original hydraulic cam chain tensioners fitted to a Harley twin cam engine with just shy of 50,000 miles.

You can almost see through them (inner and outer tensioners).

Don’t leave it too late to have yours replaced.

Twin cams with mechanical tensioner (up 2007) we recommend replacements at 30,000 miles as we have seen them break up at 35,000 miles before.

Twin cams with hydraulic tensioners (2007-2017)
We recommend 50,000 miles.

Who doesn’t enjoy more power, especially in the form of a high lift cam 💪🏻

The owner of this 114” Milwaukee 8 Fat Bob opted for a 460 cam shaft which gives great throttle response, more midrange power and a bit more torque 😎

New Vance & Hines exhaust pipes, new K&N high-flow air filter kit and a proper ECU remap. All supplied and fitted by us.

We enjoyed recently recommissioning this 1989 Harley Davidson Tour Glide featuring an impressive 124” Evo S&S engine!

This bike had been off the road for a very long time, with multiple wiring issues and a few mechanical changes we had this old girl up and running perfectly. 👌

With all the extra lighting on this bike fitted by the previous owner, we counted a total 30 lights in total.
