Wet timing belts are fitted to a number of modern engines and, if they’re not maintained or replaced at the correct interval, deterioration can potentially lead to some very expensive engine problems.

We say it every year but since the Covid MOT extensions moved so many MOTs from March to September, with the 6 month extensions, it means that September through to March is always extra busy.

We are increasingly becoming fully booked in advance atm so don’t leave it too late to book in your MOT. We’ve been doing our best to stay late or come in early to accommodate customers where we can, but it’s really best to book in advance particularly if you have a class 7 vehicle as we are only of only 3 test centres in Eastbourne who can do those.
