Is this the beginning of the end for your average mechanic?

We are seeing more and more security based protocols becoming part of standard jobs on vehicles.

This nissan juke we attended to renew the rear brakes

This has an electronic parking brake that was protected by a security protocol preventing it from being deactivated to renew the brake pads.

Luckily we have invested alot of money in the latest in vehicle diagnostics tooling and are able to access remote services to be able to carry out the job in hand meaning this didnt have to go to the main dealer for a brake replacement!

And we dont just suprise the customer with the added cost!

CAN YOU CLEAN MY DPF ??!!!

We are receiving a higher than usuall number of calls lately regarding dpf cleaning.

Yes, we can clean your dpf! Will it fix your issue? Probably not!

Anyone can plug a code reader in and get a code that says something along the lines of DPF soot high, not everyone can diagnose the actual fault.

Sadly the air con doesn't work & some investigation will be needed 😕
